Our family has been visiting this hotel on and off since the sixties. Not a lot seems to have really changed albeit amenities have increased somewhat. Beautiful area. Would liked to have sent pics but portal did not provide for this. Suggest you read other reviews to make an assessment. Lovely Wilderness village and nice beaches nearby. While this place is a bit smaller compared to the others in town we enjoyed our coffee here. The hosts were very friendly with good input on suggested items. Being next to the chocolate place helps :)

Four of us ate at Pomodoro twice on a 5 night stay in Wilderness. Itâs good. Well run, reasonably priced, good staff and tasty food. It has a nice chilled vibe and a place that seems to know exactly what its doing. Weekends are very busy so make a reservation for dinner. Both inside and outside seating

We walked by in the day so made a booking for the evening for an inside table. Lovely space inside, great menu and superb wine list. We started with snails (excellent with bacon and feta), then followed with hake and prawns, again excellent. The rose quartz wine from Paarl was fab. Finished with espresso and truffle each. Lovely meal, friendly service, and would go back.

I loved my Morrocan chicken with couscouse. My son had a scrumptious hamburger. My wife was unfortunately not too happe with her paella, which seems like the meaty elements were added after the rice was cookedWe would definitely still reccommend Flava to everyone

Whenever we tried more than the basic South African food, we failed except here - this is a truly astonishing chef restaurant that is worth every Rand it costs (especially in August when the price is discounted...) Our main dish of Springbok was without any question the best dish we ate in South Africa. If you wish one more sophisticated culinary highlight in South Africa - go to Serendipity
