Absolutely love Rick's Café.Apart of à great atmosphere et beautiful decor resembling the original movie, the food is just delightful. A large but not too large menu to suit all palets and love their well priced daily lunch specials menu.If you are a beer fan, this is just the place to come try some of their many imported beers.

We were walking around after going to the District Six Museum........Bo Kaap......Greenmarket Square,etc.....so we stopped in for cappuccino. We were given a tiny complimentary bite of something....and we ordered a stuffed cannoli to share. We were not impressed with the cannoli filling.The BEST part of our visit was conversing with the guy next to us, who it turns out started the vineyard from scratch: ELGIN RIDGE. The gal in charge even gave us a tasting of his sauvignon bllanc. It was delish.

One of the best restaurants we visited in Camps Bay. We initially had inteend to visit a restaurant just upstairs this establishment but it was closed on that day so we thought lets rather try out Bilboa! The place has nice beach views and is very warm. The staff is very friendly and proffessional and went out of their way to accomoddate all our requests. big ups!

This understated local pizza place serve the best pizza in Cape Town. I wouldn't say its a first date spot, but whenever I'm in CPT I always make a stop here. Definitely a spot to have lunch with friends. (not sure if they still run it, but their lunch time deal cant be beaten for price and quality) The service is always good and the manager (Karl) is a really friendly and helpful guy. Located along trendy Victoria Road with views over Camps Bay Beach (fantastic sunset views), Ocean Basket serves up fresh seafood from 11.00 to 22.00 (half an hour longer at weekends). You can choose from soups to salads, mediterranean-style dishes and platters as well as desserts, and sit inside (up or down) or outside on the sliver of pavement. The decor is slightly impersonal and cold, so we opted to sit outside and watch the world go by.We ordered 12 oysters, a prawn and mussel combo and two carafes of wine (chardonnay and sauvignon blanc). Three dips were brought out along with four small rolls while we waited. While friendly, the service was a bit hit and miss. The food arrived with no accompanying cutlery and we had to ask twice for it and both dishes came out together so that by the time weâd got our knives and forks, and eaten the oysters, the hot dish was cold. The oysters were however superb, not big, but meaty with a salty start and sweet finish and while the prawns were stunning and perfectly cooked, the mussels were overcooked and bland. The sauces were slightly stodgy (but this seems to be the case in most eateries), as were the accompanying chips, but both wines were very good and at R500 we couldnât complain.Hello Wucie,Thank you for taking the time to review Ocean Basket Camps Bay. It was Heritage Day....and we walked here from Company Gardens. Even arrived before it's 6:30 PM opening and Jane was MOST cordial.Liked the atmosphere...sort of funky......our waiter was Simon and he was terrific!The complimentary starter was delicious. the Jordan House Wine "hit the spot". My bengal Fish Curry did NOT measure up to the curry at Seabreeze, but that's OK and hubby had the RUMP in blue cheese and garlic sauce. Superb. However, Jane, the portion of wok veggies that came w/the rump could certainly be MORE ample. Portion of wok veggies MUCH too small.Had a great conversation with the couple at the table next to us.Dinner with tip................R 668. By the time we left most tables were occupied!

This restaurant has the most scenic view and delicious food. You can choose from sushi and make your selection of seafood. The cooking is incredible and the fish seasoning exceptional. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I love this place so much !!
