Avon Spice Cafe is Northam's go to place for Indian. Although there are tables and chairs for those who wish to eat in, it really is a takeaway, with the dishes ready cooked to go. The first thing you notice when you walk through the door is the delicious aroma of home cooked curry. The second thing you will experience will be the friendly welcome and smile. The menu is certainly not vast but there are options to suit both the hot curry lover and the 'I don't do hot' diner. When I visited this evening I noticed they also do fish and chips but I can't comment on them as I've not tried them. If it's a quick meal to pick up on the way home because you don't feel like cooking... Avon Spice is just the spot.

We were up in Northam to go on a hot air balloon ride he next day. As it was good Friday we were worried that we would have to go to McDonald's but as we drove into town we spotted Panda Chinese restaurant'. We were the only guests apart from an elderly couple who were half way through their meal. We were greeted and sat down and ordered our meal and they came out very big portions. I wasn't a huge fan on the sate chicken skewers as the sauce on them wasn't sate but everything else we got was super fantastic. We certainty loved the fried ice cream at the end!! its a must have!! If only they advertised a month sooner before good Friday maybe it might have been full house. anyway we had a great time and were satisfied. Thanks to all the staff.

After initially thinking it was funny and having a giggle that a 6' 2" man didn't want to eat any animals :)We were treated to a lovely vegetarian meal of vegetarian spring rolls, a very nice vegetarian fried rice, satay vegetables (my friend's favourite) and vegetable omelette (my favourite).As it was so lovely we devoured it all before thinking to take a photo We ordered one fried ice cream (to share, pictured) and swiftly ordered a second.Really nice food, nice service and reasonably priced, would highly recommend if in Northam.
