We had our dinner at Asado’s on the last night of our ski week. If you like good food, profession service and a nice and cozy ambiance you should definitely go to Asado’s. The food was prepared beautifully and our waiter made sure that everything was perfect. I highly recommended this restaurant!!

And in the winterseason you can put on your skis and start directly in front of our appartement. We are offering you for breakfast fresh bread service or you can come and breakfast in our restaurant.

We have been visiting Hopfgarten for 3 years for skiing, and after trying the majority of ski restaurants, Tenn is by far the best. They are friendly, well priced and they make the most amazing goulash soup on earth. Every other restaurant offering goulash soup is a disappointment.

Trying to make a last minute reservation for a group of nine during the week of the Streif, World Cup Race is not for the faint-hearted. However, Hildegarde, the owner, was very helpful and we didn't have to leave Kirchberg without enjoying the excellent food from this beautiful place.

We booked a table for 8 but had to wait a good while to be seated. Service was very slow & I'm guessing they are a little understaffed but the food is excellent, burgers in particular. I had a Schnitzel burger which beautiful but a huge serving. Would definitely go back as some of the other eateries in Westendorf are below par.

Astonishingly, some people walk or cycle the endless zigzag road up to this awesome restaurant. I prefer not to. This premium Hut in the Alp presents its visitors with a staggering 180 degree view, which is hard to beat. do book a table right at the edge, which allows you to melt into the amber sunset skies, once sufficient schnapps has been consumed. Blankets are passed around for the whimsical. great, simple menu encourages lengthy, joyful meals.

Had a lovely fillet steak with peppercorn sauce at Reiterstuberl. The steak was beautifully cooked medium rare. The peppercorn sauce was like thick bisto (UK gravy mix) with added peppercorns. The sauce completely overpowered any flavour the steak had. I did not complain as I removed my steak from the sauce and ate it seperately. I would recommend eating here but ask for all sauces on the side as a safety measure. The beans with bacon were slightly over cooked but had a lovely smokey flavour.
Would eat here again but would give extra instruction on my order.

The menu is extensive offering local specilties prepared in a gournet way. Everything we tried was delicious and what the other guests were eating looked just as good! I love this everything about this establishment- the perfumed, chaotic garden with swings and treehouse for kids; the voluptuos waitress who remembers us every time; the starched tablecloths with fresh flowers; the extensive selection of grappas and schnapps which tickle the sweet tooth, the flourish of the menu- traditional, yet suprisingly prepared.
So what a disappointment to find a meal, which didn't pass muster. I shall be back and let you know, whether this was the exception to prove the rule or whether one should look elsewhere. i do hope not.
