While I feel they were a little short staffed our waitress was on the spot with everything. I wish more restaurants had employees with her drive. Breakfast was served fairly quickly and perfectly cooked eggs with some ordering over easy and scrambled and over medium were also ordered. Large portions also. Chicken fried steak was delicious and their gravy was really good (a little more pepper may be needed if you like that).

Friendly, welcoming service from a strip mall BBQ joint.Meats were of good quality.Even had real sweet tea for those southerners missing that treat.Only observation to share is that it runs a bit more expensive than its southern counterparts. May be normal for the area.Very clean inside and not smokey!

We came to have dinner here on a weekday , service was good but the food wasnât , we came for local crabs but was sold out and found out they only get them once every couple weeks and not enough to last a week normally , seems strange not to order more if is a good seller ? We ordered the seafood sampler and the whole thing was deep fried , even the salmon ( first for us )We found the food standard very poor here for a tourist town , as this is the number 2 restaurant listed on trip advisor .

My husband had the hazelnut encrusted filet of snapper with frangelico buerre blanc and assorted colors of sweet potato and possibly butternut squash (?). I had the pan seared scallops with a wonderful pasta and harissa. We started with the duck pate which is always my favorite and since it was my birthday, I got to choose. Dessert was white chocolate cheesecake with raspberry coulis for me and a chocolate decadence for my husband. I am glad we live 75 miles away from this place or we would eat there once a week. The kitchen activity is always fun to watch too.

This restaurant is quite old but the food is excellent. Our waitress was really nice and so helpful. A real American restaurant, but funny seeing the locals watching tennis. We thought football would have been the norm. Great fun. Thank you to your waitress. We had two dinners there.
