My family, (me along with my wife and two teen daughters), stopped here on the way up to Waimea Canyon. Not only was the coffee very delicious but the entire experience was quaint, fun and unique. There is artwork along with a ton of other interesting items and signage throughout the shop. My favorite item was her stuffed "complaint duck". She makes the coffee in gourmet fashion and with a personal touch sorely missing in this mega-chain coffee age. If you want a very tasty cup of joe on your way up to the canyon lookouts, especially early in the morning, as well as a fun and unique experience, don't miss this absolutely delightful little shop.

We are the original JoJo's! Although we have expanded with a second location in Hanalei, our goal has remained the same - to offer the ultimate in shave ice on Kauai! We don't use commercially made syrups that most of the others buy. Instead we carefully make our own syrups with a lot less sugar but even more flavor. No corn syrup. Only pure cane sugar and some of the freshest Hawaiian flavors. It's been many years since my last visit to JoJo's. I usually stop after hiking in the Waimea canyon and Na Pali trails. I got their most popular, a rainbow of flavors with mac ice cream in the bottom and coconut milk on top. It was busy but no wait. So good!

Food truck located in Waimea.........Happy and eager to please caterers. Easy to find, lots of parking, and covered table to enjoy your meal. Very popular food truck and quite busy around the meal times. When we were there, they are closed Monday and Tuesday......but just check somewhere on the internet in the future as those days may change.
3 things on the menu to chose from. Sausage dog, hot dog and grill cheese, each slathered in a pulled pork topping with your choice of mild or hot and spicy BBQ sauce. We sampled all three and they were all awesome. I liked the sausage dog the best but they are all very well done.

We stopped by this wonderful supermarket to stock up on some various poke before our drive to Waimea Canyon. Huge selection of Poke and Tako. Some really good deals on Japanese bento lunch box as well. I only wish there was another location of this great joint in Kapaa where we stayed for our week long vacation in Kauai! Service is excellent too.

Nice selection of food at a decent price. Some items available gluten free. Staff was nice and food was delivered quickly. Definitely hit the spot while checking out the beaches.

Nice little outlet with very decent espresso (macchiatos) from a La Marzocco machine. Had a granola fruit yoghurt bowl too, which was very good. They have a little backyard surrounded by little art galleries. Friendly staff Worth it

Great little bakery with delicious sandwiches served beautifully. Open faced prosciutto with shredded cheese, arugula and balsamic was delicious. Also had the grilled prosciutto with brie. Turkey sandwich was excellent - fresh Turkey (not deli meat) with a pesto mayo and dijon. Best of all was cinnamon danish with macadamia nuts!!

Salad bar = meh. Soup = didn’t try. Dinner was a Japanese taster ( tempura, rice, sashimi, and bit of teriyaki beef) and one order of ribs. Was better than expected after we waited too long at hostess station to be acknowledged and then seated and were advised that patience and waiting were important. (So is good customer service.) They were slowly adding and running through bills and credit cards for people who were paying separately for their dinners. Even just saying we will be with you shortly would be nice. Choices in the area are quite limited, so stuck it out. Dinner special on offer was a 32 oz steak with one pound of crab legs. $70. Too much food for us. But saw others order it. Drinks ran out and would have been reordered if meal hadn’t been finished by the time service reappeared. Competition and bigger labour pool might make things a little more sharp but given neither is changing soon you could do worse.

Checked reviews and decided we would come for lunch on our way to Waimea Canyon.
From the outside nothing remotely interesting to look at.
Open the door and get greeted by local friendly folks. Hamburgers were as good or better as any we have had on the mainland.
Highly recommend for anyone wanting good food prepared and served by very nice people
