Bit of heaven for recovering from jetlag

Reviewed By AnemoneRi

This place was exactly what we needed after travelling all the way from North Europe: beautiful location, everything worked smoothly, loved the terrace & having a small kitchen, and the tranquility of the place! Also a nice beach nearby with delicious pizzas (Dragonfired). The place is so well located up on a hill, you get to sleep well in perfect peace & quiet and see the stars at night and yet stay within a nice stroll to the village for shops & cafés etc. Regarding the room everything was nice and well arranged, our room had only a tiny bit of ocean view so it was also possible to enjoy the view from a secret spot in the garden - lovely idea! No need for a taxi when arriving (too much waiting), just hop on a bus and the stops are very close by to the house - just a steep walk uphill which was a bit tricky with baggage, but the location and views are worth it <3

Incredibly helpful host and beautiful property

Trevor was incredibly helpful. Our request to stay at the property was very last minute, but Trevor managed to pull out all stops to make it happen for us. It was a very special time for the family to get together and we’re just so great full that Trevor managed to make it work for us all. Some very special memories were made over the weekend and the property was immaculate and all our needs were very well provided for. Would recommend 11/10

Ok stay

Stayed here 2 nights. On closer inspection room was a bit dusty and looked like it hadnt been dusted in a while.floor didnt look clean either..could of been stains engrained in the tiles but disnt look clean at all. The pool photos do not match the pictures, water was cloudy and green and the sides of the pool were very dirty, put me off going in.dont get me wrong it was a nice enough chalet with a microwave and kitchenette but for 340 a night a bit over priced in my opinion. On arrival owner didnt say much..just that I should turn air con on when I get into room. There was no brush or Hoover to sweep the floor so couldnt tidy that up.

Disappointing stay

Reviewed By T888NJaliceb

I left early as I was thoroughly disappointed. I paid a lot extra for the breakfast for the 3 days expecting that some of it would be cooked. And for the price you charged $86, I don't think it was worth a tin of fruit, dried cereal, and eggs. And for it to be self service, which was not indicated anywhere that this was the breakfast option. I was really disappointed that the hot tub was not available, as that was one ofthe main reasons I booked this accommodation for that facility.

Friendly, Convenient, Affordable and dog friendly

Reviewed By wrigglesnake

We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage - 6 adults, a baby, and dogs. Its was a little cramped with us all, because the weather was very wet and that kept us all inside. Even so we had a wonderful weekend and really appreciated this dog friendly motel. There were a couple of minor things like faulty light bulbs, that could be improved, but there were also plenty of blankets, heaters etc to keep us cosy. The location is central to Ostend Village, with takeaways, supermarket and some very nice local shops. I happily recommend this motel.
