Rejuvenating Getaway
Reviewed By MahvashieMy mother and I took a much need 3 day rejuvenating getaway and experienced exactly that. I was visiting India from NY but needed to getaway from city life. This property is right across from the beach. There are no hotels on Cherai beach, they are across the street. This one is so close to the beach, you can hear the ocean waves lapping against the shoreline all day and night which is so serene and calming. You can go to the beach all day and night. It is quiet, not crowded. The staff puts up lounge chairs, umbrellas and provides towels and there is a foot wash for when you're sandy after being on the beach. The hotel is owned by a lovely couple who provide meals, in fact Auntie cooks most meals herself, so you can taste homemade delicious Kerala cuisine. Uncle arranges any activities and makes great suggestions for where to go and what to do. There are ayurvedic spas right down the street that will come and pick you up and drop you off after your treatments. I had the best massages of my life during my stay in Cochin. If you want to experience all the comforts and serenity Cochin has to offer, stay at this wonderful and homey B&B.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, beautiful and friendly accommodation at Cherai Beach, look no further and book. The property set in a beautiful and romantic garden that touches the lake. There are many comfy chairs and hammocks to relax. Rooms are comfortable, modern, very clean and equipped with 24 hours running hot and cold water. The beach is just a few meters away. You can enjoy sunrise from lake facing rooms or can sit down next to the lake to enjoy sunrise with birds chirping. Go fishing or take a boat ride, we will be happy to arrange for you. In the evening, take a boat ride to have a close look at Chinese fishing net and chat with local fishermen. Or hire a two-wheeler or bi-cycle and ride along sea shore.

Clean, comfortable, serene rooms set in a garden facing the lake. Shari, Sharath and their family managed to give us a balance of a resort & home experience.Extremely professional hosts & impeccable service. Our pet enjoyed the stay as much as we did. With a beautiful beach less than 0.5kms the location was perfect. With great food (fresh seafood), great conversations, the host's little girl Minnu showing us how to catch fish on a hook..the week was very relaxed and enjoyable.

Reviewed By HaridaskpThe best part of this hotel is it's sprawling bg bedroom with a connecting door to another room which is just perfect for a family of 4. The room overlooks the sea from the balcony. Despite a breakfast that's just ordinary you need to make provision from outside for food. This hotel is just opposite to the sea and just 100mtr distance from the beach. Nice place to stay for a family but the hotel could do with some make over but probably covid has had its toll on every business. Overall i would rate it a 3*. A massage parlour also is available but nothing much to talk about just basic. Just come stay fr 2days enjoy the calm weather n leave. That's it.

Reviewed By Sree kThere are only eight rooms in the resort. Two Rooms in the main area of the resort alone is sea facing.. We booked the resort with an intention to stay in the sea facing rooms. We were allotted with the rooms in the heritage wing is not sea facing. The same is like a normal room with a small garden in front. If you climb few steps, you will be able to face the sea.. That area is a private space for these 6 six rooms and dining is provided in that area. Food is ok.. You have only limted choices for dinner. Break fast was also ok.. The break fast is arranged in the main building. There is an infinity pool in the resort. But the resort is not maintained properly. The staffs are friendly. But they don't have any professionalism in their attitude and all. Its not a beach side resort.. You can just sit and view the sea from the restaurant and the dining area of the hotel or from the two sea facing rooms

Reviewed By charmyk2017Its a small resort but the rooms are very neat and the stay was comfortable. Especially the bathrooms are tiled and maintained well. Complimentary Kerala breakfast which was really good (Puttu & kadlai curry). Friendly staff.

Amazing Place!
Reviewed By ManuManu8My friend and I came to Coconut Garden right as the Covid-19 times started to affect Kerala and this family welcomed us with open arms! The rooms we stayed in were very sweet – a double bed, fan, closet and mosquito nets connected to a spacious, bright living room. The whole compound is quite big with coconut and mango trees and lots of space to move around. As India went in lockdown we felt welcomed here – Sudheesh and his brother Suman bought fruits and vegetables for us and made sure we had everything we needed. A highlight of the stay for sure is the food! The breakfast, lunch and basically everything that was served was beyond delicious making me look forward to the next day immediately after finishing it. We ended up staying several weeks, also after the lockdown was less strict and had a great time. Talking, playing games with the kids, celebrating Vishu together, there were many great moments that I like to look back at. Thank you for everything!! ? Ps. The homestay is located super close to the ocean - if you listen closely you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves coming in.

And the best thing about this place is the people - Dhanesh and Sunesh are very kind and helpful. They can arrange anything you need and help you getting around. Strongly recommend it!
