New hotel at a very fair price
Reviewed By Erbee64This is a Holiday Inn Express of the latest standards, so you know what you will get. Very friendly staff, clean and good sized room, table that is too small to put your laptop + paper, .... and very good breakfast in a nice restaurant area. All this for a very fair price, I will for sure book again if I'm in the area. One last note: plenty of space to park you car!

Lovely place with a couple of buts ....
Reviewed By loslynchLovely accommodation and very easy ski in/out with 200m downslope to a short gondola. Apartment was very comfortable; though a little tricky to regulate the temperature. Fantastic breakfast in lovely surroundings. Staff very friendly though we did feel a little let down when we had an issue with our transfer vehicle - a flat battery and the hotel didn't help us at all. We ended by speaking to the Walserberg Hotel who sorted us out. About disappointing considering the "luxury" tag the Resort has. A couple of other things to consider when booking. It's at the edge of the Arlberg ski-area so if you want to go further afield than the relatively small Warth area, it takes a little time to get across to the Lech-Zurs-St Anton and the lifts in Warth shut 30mins to in hour earlier than the lifts elsewhere. That limits your ability to access other areas and get back in time. The sauna / steam room is nude only. Maybe that's quite normal in Germany/Austria, but it wasn't what we are used to so it limited our use of the facilities a little. We finally got into it, but it may be a consideration for anyone of a more modest outlook! The local Spar is pretty light on fresh produce so if you plan on catering you will probably want to stock up a little on route. Catering facilities in the apartment were a little limited as well though Julian on reception offered to get us anything we needed.

Great town centre hotel
Reviewed By 659francesgAbsolutely lovely in the heart of the pedestrian area. Parking is not that easy, but nowhere seems far to walk. And once you’ve parked you can keep topping up. The rooms are very new and delightfully decorated, melding the old with the new. We haven’t experienced the sauna yet, but it looks amazing on the top floor and we have yet to have breakfast. Staff very friendly and family room available.

Eine Frühstückspension mit einem super Frühstück
Reviewed By RainerPriDas ehemalige Hotel Alpenblick wurde restauriert und ist nun sMatt3. Unser Zimmer 12 war schön eingerichtet. Leider war Kies oder Sand am Boden und im Bereich des Teppichs vor dem Bett. Das Wasser in der Toilettenschüssel war braun. Auch war es recht Staubig auf den Flächen. Vermutlich war das Zimmer länger nicht belegt. Es wäre schön wenn der Zimmerservice nach einer längere nicht Belegung einmal kurz durchschauen könnte. Das Zimmer ist direkt zur B205 und daher sehr Laut vom Straßenlärm in der Nacht. Ansonsten waren die Betten gut. Die Gänge etwas verwinkelt. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und wird auch von vielen Einheimischen besucht. Leider war es am Sonntag sehr voll und ich wurde, da ich an einem Tisch Stirnseitig saß, dauernd von hinten angerempelt da sich die Besucher zwischen meinem Sessel und dem Sessel hinter mir durchquetschen mussten. Vielleicht sollten die Tischabstände geändert werden oder nicht so ausladende Sessel verwendet werden. Ausserhalb der Frühstückszeiten ist kein Personal im Hotel. Es steht im 2ten OG ein Getränkekühlschrank bereit. Schön wäre wenn es hier auch ein Bregenzerwälder Bier ( Egger ) aus dem Nachbardorf gäbe.

Strategic location; supermarket nearby, free bus to Sonnenkopf hof ski slopes, walkable to restaurants 2. Check in via a computer terminal and very quick, the terminal will generate the key cards to your apartment. 3. Lovely view of the mountains from our living room 4. On 1 Jan, a bird’s eye view of fireworks outside from our balcony. There was a party with music, food & drinks nearby. On 31 Dec, could also see the fireworks from our balcony 5. Beautiful & well designed layout, love the quilts! Big wardrobe space, ample hangers, luxurious bathrobes for the pool. 6. Lovely welcome of 2 packets of pasta & pasta sauce 7. Nice surprise; Housekeeping came with 2 bottles of sparkling wine 8. Quick response to emails 9. Lovely outdoor heated pool which you can swim to from inside. A nice indoor pool for kids inside with some toys Could do better: 1. It would good if someone came to show us how to use the appliances & starter kit; we do not understand German 2. No microwave; this is more useful than an oven. 3. We only had 1 small knife and they came to give us 1 bigger knife after email request. 4. The mattress a bit soft 5. Facial cotton & cotton buds too little for 5 nights stay 6 .Even though the layout showed 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, it was 2 single beds joined together. 7. The breads & croissants at the reception should be placed in covered trays

Großartiger Rückzugsort in Stuben am Arlberg

Angefangen vom Branding über die Lage bis zum Restaurant (dazu mehr in der gesonderten Restaurantbewertung) ist das kleine Hotel in Stuben ein toller Rückzugsort für einen ruhigen Urlaub. Es liegt in Stuben Am Arlberg in sehr ruhiger Lage. In den warmen Monaten kann man es sich vor dem Hotel auf der Terrasse bequem machen und dort ein Bier trinken oder die selbst gemachten Eissorten, Sorbets probieren oder Eiskaffee trinken. Das Zimmer ist zwar klein, aber modern und sehr reduziert eingerichtet. Genau, wie ich es mag. Das Badezimmer ist sauber und die Sicht aus meinem Zimmer gefällt mir auch. Direkt vom Hotel führt ein Weg zu einer Kneip-Anlage, die in 5 bis 10 Minuten erreichbar ist. Von Stuben ist man auch recht schnell an anderen Ausflugszielen, braucht dafür allerdings ein Auto um flexibel zu bleiben. Mehr zu Vorarlberg gibt es auch auf meinem Travel-Blog

Second Time!
Reviewed By Ede69...Auenhütte zum zweiten Mal! Diesmal mit der Familie, bei Schnee und Sonnenschein - ein Traum. Die Zimmer sind in allen Kategorien durchdacht und mit Herzblut gestaltet. Personal, egal wer, absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich - herzlichen Dank. Das Frühstück wurde verbessert, denn nun werden auch Kaffeespezialitäten wie Latte Macchiato etc. angeboten - sehr gut! Das Abendessen ist extrem lecker und kann auch auf Gästewunsch angepasst werden. Ein Hutessen sollte man probieren, denn das ist ein sehr leckeres Erlebnis. Somit bleibt zu sagen, wir kommen auch ein 3.Mal wieder!!!
