Its capital is the city of Kazan. The republic borders Kirov, Ulyanovsk, Samara, and Orenburg Oblasts, the Mari El, Udmurt, and Chuvash Republics, and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The area of the republic is 68,000 square kilometres (26,000 sq mi). The unofficial Tatarstan motto is Bez Buldırabız! (We can!). As of the 2010 Census, the population of Tatarstan was 3,786,488.

I was there on dinner after three hard days and I have to say, this is the best restaurant in Almetyevsk. Food was very delicious, beer very similar like in Slovakia (it means very good), service and waitress were very helpful and kind. Honestly I think it was better Georgian restaurant than in Moscow. I really recommend this restaurant.

A large group of us turned up for dinner. The waitress, Shola, could not have been more accommodating. She was incredibly helpful and patient, despite being overworked. Food was good but not spectacular, and the live singer probably should take an extended break. Wide range of very good khatchapuri.Thank you for your review! Would you mind if we ask what was your order? We would like to know if something was wrong, because you give us 3 stars for "food". We are really concerned! Hope you had a great time in Kazan!
