Tysons, also known as Tysons Corner, is a census-designated place (CDP) and unincorporated community in Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. Located in Northern Virginia between the community of McLean and the town of Vienna along the Capital Beltway (I-495), it lies within the Washington Metropolitan Area. Tysons is home to two super-regional shopping malls—Tysons Corner Center and Tysons Galleria—and the corporate headquarters of numerous companies such as Intelsat, Gannett, Hilton Worldwide, Cvent, Freddie Mac, Capital One and Booz Allen Hamilton. Tysons is Fairfax County's central business district and a regional commercial center. It has been characterized as a quintessential example of an edge city. The population was 19,627 as of the 2010 census.

We had dinner here with friends primarily because we wanted to try a local Turkish restaurant. We were seated inside., but during warm evenings there is excellent outside seating available. The menu has several interesting choices, particularly the Turkish selections. I had one of the specials, slices of beef and land with two sauces, over rice. Other foods we enjoyed were a spinach pie (great) and a pasta dish with a type of noodle I have not had. My wife had Moussaka which was tasty. The calamari appetizer was great because it did not have breading -very interesting (and delicious). My only complaint is the prices of wines are high. Service was superb. Oh, you have to save room for the chocolate cake dessert!!

Here you combine your own ingredient choices to put together a very good Mediterranean meal. The choices are excellent and the tastes are too. Too bad so few peple were eating here while the Chick-fil-a next door was packed. They were missing a good thing.

My amazing fiance and I really enjoy eating lunch or dinner here. SOLID consistently delicious food and service.Whatever they do...their Tzatziki is one of the best around - sometimes we order two because i hog the entire bowl. The warmed pita bread is perfect too - no good for me when I try to stop eating carbs!Their French fries...I know...who knew? Well, you should order them. I don't do too well sharing these either. Don't know how my fiance puts up with my selfish ways!For the first time, last evening, I veered from my standard Greek Salad and ordered a bowl - with shrimp. Five delicious shrimp. You can order add-ons. It can get $$ if you do that, so i Only ordered feta and a tomato mixture. Delicious! the light dressing had plenty of flavor.Always a great experience her.

We were coming back from a matinee at the Kennedy Center and agree to meet our friends at 5:30. We arrived at this early hour and the restaurant was basically empty. We intended to enjoy a drink and then order dinner. Even after we told our waiter that we didn't want to order until we finished our drinks, he came back four times asking if we would like to order.My wife's food good, mine less so. My wife had the veal steak which was excellent. I ordered one of the Kofti dishes... I like spicy middle east kofti. The meat was supposed to be served over a bed of aubergine, peppers and Nan. The meat was very good, but the vegetables were a cooked down gruel of tastelessness. The Nan was cut up into small pieces into the gruel that were hard as a rock. I have been to Turkey multiple times and never had a dish served this way. We each had one drink and a glass of wine.For more than $100 plus tip, there are better restaurants in the area.

I usually donât give large franchise type establishments a great rating but Lebanese Taverna takes things seriously with regard to food and service. They must have dozens of wait staff working as any given time. We had a large group for dinner party and things went smooth. No one had problems and they food tasted authentic and tasteful! Especially likes their spinach wraps pastry - usually that pastry is dry and full of think uncooked leaves that are too bland. Not theirs - fully cooked spinach and dough. The meats were excellent - and veggies and salads fresh!One excellent touch to their hummus was the roasted garlic on top of the hummus plates. Nice...fluffy bread too!They allowed us to bring our own custom cake and desserts too! Enjoy - It is located on the lower first floor of the Galleria Mall, near Hugo Boss entrance. If you valet your car you will have walk Downstairs To get the Lebanese Taverna. No elevators close by but in middle of mall there is an elevator...

Excellent greek dishes but NO atmosphere. The larger room had some ambience but they put us in the corner of a small cramped room with no decoration. Very noisy and the waiter George was rushed, preoccupied and impatient with our questions. Parking was adequate.
