Quaint, small, Asian restaurant in a Strip Mall in Chantilly, Va. The decor is more high-end. The service is absolutely wonderful and the food is fresh and amazing! Highly Recommend!

Can't understand 3** rating for this place on this site. We've been in few hibachi buffets but this one is 3 ways above your standart hibachi place.One of the best buffets we ever ate. The food was freshly supplyed all the time (we visited for lunch between 1p-2p), the quality, freshness and taste of the most dishes we've tried was very good (and in some cases just great). The only complaint I can say is that seems they do not serve snow crab legs even for dinner (at least I din't find any information that they do). The cleanliness was A+ and the service was very nice and efficient. But the most surprizing part was the value: $9.99 for Lunch(weekdays) and $12.99 (weekends) and Weekend Dinner $17.99. Seems very reasonable to me. Definitely coming back if in the area.

Decided to order take out for dinner. Various hot or cold appetizers, soups (seafood hot & sour with crispy dough fritters, wonton, crab & fish maw), chicken, duck dishes, rice, lo mein, clay pot rice, sizzling hot plates, casseroles, noodle/chow goon/ vermicelli dishes, congee, seafood such as baby clams with bean sauce, Szechuan shrimp, steamed flounder with ginger scallion, beef or pork dishes, vegetable, Hong Kong style soup dumpling noodle, fish ball noodle, beef brisket noodle, very reasonable lunch specials (Monday- Friday 11 to 3), and of course BBQ roasted pig, duck,pork, chicken. Easily accessible location in a plaza on Lee Jackson Memorial highway, plenty of parking.

Our server gave us the wrong check, then gave us a new one after we let her know only 2 out of the 5 meals were listed. We gave her 3 credit cards and told her to split the tab evenly. I thought she did but instead she charged for each meal separately. I was under the impression she charged my meal as a part of the overall check; which we told her to split evenly between 3 credit cards. She came back to me and demanded my portion for my meal. It was 9.54. I gave her $10. She then angrily asked me for a tip. I was so confused because again, we told her to split the tab evenly and she should have already been given a tip as a part of the overall tab. Anyway, I left her $5 but I would never go back there again. She created confusion and expected us to magically know what she was doing, then was angry about it. I think everyone deserves a tip and even with bad service I tip the minimum 18%. It was not my intention to not tip her, but if you give us one check and we ask u to split it evenly and instead you separate the check and charge separately; it would have made more sense for you to give us separate checks. This would have avoided confusion and she would have then received separate tips from everyone. Lastly, I would like to add, you should never embarrass customers like that in front of everyone. It is rude and you scare customers into NEVER coming back and especially, when you as a server made mistakes and created the confusion yourself. I would give a 0 if I could but the food was alright.

Lotus is a very quiet restaurant with great Asian-style vegetarian food. The dishes are tasty and while not adventurous are consistently satisfying from visit to visit. The prices are affordable and the portions are generous. I'm a frequent diner here and have enjoyed Lotus for years.

This place has excellent service and very large portions. I thoroughly enjoyed the vegetable spring rolls and my dad liked the crispy noodles combination option. I ordered the drunken noodles and was happy about the jalapeños but would have preferred less sauce.
