Super place!

Reviewed By Escape809475

We stayed for 2 nights and it was great. The price was super and the breakfast included was a really nice extra. The place is only a 5-10 minute walk to the center of town but is far enough out so there is no noise (we had an interior courtyard room with a little patio). There is no parking lot but plenty of free on-street parking. We never parked more than 3 blocks away. The front desk was manned by 2 great women who could not have been more helpful and patient - I’m sure they get the same questions endlessly. Clean, well appointed room with every amenity you could use save 1! I am going to have on my tombstone “Why can’t this room have more hooks to hang clothes?” It happens everywhere!

This hotel was a perfect choice for our one night stay. The view from our room was just splendid and the room itself was spotless. Barbara is lovely and was very happy to suggest local restaurants and attractions. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Would definitely pick this hotel again if we go to Villasimius next time round.

Tranquillity

Reviewed By Rusholme

This resort is really secluded and tranquil - although close enough to get around by car. We made the trip from Cagliari by car in 50 mins and returned for a day trip later in our stay. Our room was great - on the second floor of the main block with a great balcony and view out over the countryside and towards the sea. The pool areas are great, two pools with an array of sun loungers. The barman who served us was so friendly and professional (a highlight of our stay) and was happy to suggest & make cocktails for us while we relaxed by the pool. We were also served olives, crisps and the biggest capers we've ever seen. The main pool is pretty deep. The breakfast at the resort was good, a modest buffet and cooked eggs/bacon on request. I managed to eat cake for breakfast the entire time I was here - well if you can't on holiday, when can you eh?

Not worth it

Reviewed By sergiobuonanno

The resort is a 3 star and it honestly doesn’t deserve more. The staff is really kind (with the exception of the director that behaved really impolitely in one occasion with other guests for really futile matters). The swimming pool is not always clean (late in the afternoon is almost always fool of dead insects) and the small house we were accommodated needed maintenance (toilet paper support broken, wc seat poorly fixed) not speaking about the boiler, so small that 2 or 3 of us had to take cold showers every day. It was clearly undersized for 5-6 guests. The bushes around the house needed to be trimmed and we had an invasion of ants. The air conditioner was almost useless during the hottest days and the tiles of the terrace in front of the house are of such a poor quality that they become really slippery when wet and in fact I fell and needed medication after I cleaned the surface to get rid of the ants. We travelled in 6 and they gave us 1 beach umbrella and 2 sun beds in a very narrow and overcrowded beach… a couple of times near the garbage bins… with a few garbage bags of the previous day that nobody had disposed around us …. and there is no parking that belongs to the resort (even if the travel agency stated they have some), you have to find a spot on the public street… not always an easy task.

Room was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean by our very hard working maid. We were booked on a bed breakfast basis and thoroughly enjoyed an large range of choices. We ended up dining in the restaurant 3 nights because we found the choice and quality could not be beaten anywhere else. Staff at reception and particularly in the dining room were always helpful and very friendly. service was of a really high standard.

Outstanding

Reviewed By Notrelevant2020

Just back from Villasimius and was knocked out by my experience at I Graniti. I booked a single but it was actually a small double - beautifully furnished in a traditional modern Italian style. The bathroom with lovely tiling was particularly nice with an excellent shower. Everything in the room and the public spaces (including modern reception and breakfast area) was always spotlessly clean. A lot of thought had also gone into ensuring Covid-19 safety. A very 'typical Italian' buffet breakfast (cakes and cold meat etc) doesn't do the breakfast here justice as a desciption - it was excellent. The cream on the cake was Martina Z's response to a problem I had upon arrival which was my own fault and nothing to do with the booking or hotel. The patience and support Martina showed helped me through an awkward 24 hours at the start of my holiday - she even did some 'phoning around for me in Italian. All the staff I met were actually really friendly. The hotel is in a great location, just off the main 'drag' of this lovely little town and just down the hill from a lovely little osteria (Il Vecchio Faro where I had a couple of very good value meals based around local fare). The hotel is an easy walk to the beaches. I had a faultless five day stay here and would not hesitate to go back. Keeping in touch before and during my stay via WhatsApp also loaned a really personal, friendly touch to my experience with this hotel.

Boutique Hotel Su Sergenti

This small Boutique hotel, near the village and the most beautiful beaches of Villasimius, is delightfully furnished and offers a great hospitality. The romantic and elegant atmosphere, the shades of sand and sea reflected in every detail of the furnishings, the scent of bougainvillea mixed with the smell of homemade cakes that will give you a good morning when you wake up, are the ideal setting to spend your holidays of "sweet doing nothing". A private elegant setting that will make you feel at ease, relaxed and pampered by the light colours of Villasimius. All the rooms are clean, bright and spacious and offer, in addition to traditional convenience, free Wi-Fi. Both the hotel and the reserved beach for customers (800 mt away) are easily accessible for guests with limited mobility.

Su segretei hotel review

Reviewed By DJ2104

The place is a dump. They fixed the front desc area in a cheap-looking asian style (???), the rooms are with the decor and furniture from the 1970's in the best case. The breakfast is terrible, extremely poor and only industrial products are offered - so the hotel is absolutely nothing that is advertised and the photos they post online are far from the reality. A total scam. Calling this a boutique hotel really makes me lol.
