Nice setting overlooking the marina & Redland Bay, QLD.
Stairs only for those with mobility issues.
Our wait was 45 minutes for Chicken Parmagiana & Eggs Benedict with Salmon.
Whilst the dishes were more than generous, the quality was not up to scratch.
The chicken was tough & the eggs were overdone.
Prices were good at under $20 per plate.
Overall we were disappointed.

Have been to Hog's Breath many time and every time I have had a very good steak. The service is very friendly and the food comes out quite quickly. Just be mindful if you order garlic bread, don't order bread and mains at the same time as they then come out together.

Loved this cute little cafe with its wishing well in the middle and of course it has historical interest also. The decor is unique with old cups and teapots all over the place! Food was excellent especially the barramundi and calamari...yummy! Owner had great sense of humour which I appreciated! Good value for money.....hamburgers look great as well!! A must if you are in the area!

The Courthouse is an elegant white cloth dining venue with stunning views of Moreton Bay. Our heritage listed property is set on manicured waterfront Gardens and boasts areas for intimate dining, private functions & lavish gatherings. With fairy-lit outdoor spaces for the warmer months and three crackling open fires for the colder months, it is a venue for all seasons and all occasions. The Courthouse Restaurant is a multi awarded venue for both cuisine and service and is a property packaged so perfectly, it truly is a complete dining experience.
It would be 30 years since I first went to this historic restaurant.
Nothing appears to have changed,
The entry through the heritage rooms the original features brought back fond memories.
We were seated in the “ new” larger area. The restaurant was just about full and full of people have a great time. It had a good vibe.
Service was efficient and we had drinks and a menu instantly.
The wine list is comprehensive.
The menu was the same as 30 years ago.
Perfect!
No modern bistro menu here.
What a joy, Oysters Kilpatrick, scallops mornay.
Steak and prawns
The oysters natural were fresher than fresh and the steak was perfectly cooked and prawns delicious.
Sticky date pudding was the perfect finish!
We had a great night, great service and sensational food.

The Espresso Bar has such a good reputation for its constant Delivery of great food and service. I lunched there today, and once again was extremely happy with my meal. My friend was equally as happy with hers too. Good wholesome food, presented well, and served by friendly and courteous staff. All this in a relaxed atmosphere.

The wife and I went to the excellent Victoria Point cinema and after the film we decided to stay for dinner. After scouring Tripadvisor, we decided to try Haveli.
After a two minute walk, we arrived at the restaurant and was promptly seated in the vivid and well dressed establishment.
The staff were all young but were great throughout the whole service, We ordered way too much food and probably ate far too much but it was difficult to stop ourselves as it was so delicious. The curries, the rice, the naan bread and sides were all superb and it was difficult to leave a morsel, even though I almost slipped into a food korma.
In my experience, good Indian restaurants are difficult to in Queensland but this one is probably my new #1. We had the (hot) Lamb Rogan Josh and the Chicken Dopiaza (not on menu but made anyway) and both were fantastic.

New owners, respectfully.....please;
ensure that old menu is always available; despite menu updates pls provide regulars with their old favourites
ensure that a request for a meal/sauce a certain way is fully met please
ensure that tandoor oven is always functional in place (it makes your restaurant unique and food amazing)
ensure salad is always fresh i.e. not bagged rocket/wilted etc
that naan bread is always made fresh, cooked in tandoor (and never packet or pre made/frozen etc)
never reheat anything in microwave, cook from fresh
never provide rice in a plastic bowl to table
never have butter chicken overly sweet (even if it's medium); it should never be overly sweet or jammy tasting
We have enjoyed/loved this restaurant since the day it open, we would love to continue to do the same. Take care.
LOVE YOUR RESTAURANT! Thx so much.

We had our first visit to Elysium today and were extremely happy that we decided to have lunch here. Décor is simple but stylish and suits the bush/lakeside setting. Shown to our table on the edge of the lake, great location. Drink orders were taken...MoreHi Perry, Thank you so very much for your lovely review. Decided to try a couple of dishes on their lunch menu. We ordered Mongolian beef and a Chicken red curry to take away. The dishes actually tasted ok but the vegetables they used (and plenty of them ) were old. The beans had black mould spots on them. Judging by my beans I sometimes find at the bottom of my fridge I would have to say theirs were at least two weeks old. The capsicum also were just pieces off the end so I am presuming the bad bits had been cut off before cooking... Same for the zucchini . You could see where the bad bits were cut out. I know we all probably do this at home but when you are paying good money you expect fresh. Won't be going back.
