The place was horrible!!! First of all, the staff (I guess a Franch woman) is incredibly unfriendly. Secondly, there is absolutely NO customer services. Thirdly, you have to PAY for TOMATO SAUCE depite ordering CHIPS.Avoid eating here!!! Pleasantly surprised by The Vista after reading all the reviews. Not sure why everyone is complaining as I donât have a thing to complain about! The restaurant was quite busy and had a great mood set and the service was great. The food was really nice, of a reasonable size and came out quickly. We had a variety of dishes between the 6 of us, entrees included calamari, sagnaki and swimmer prawns. Mains included fish of the day, pork belly and seafood linguine. We also ordered sides of pumpkin and feta. Overall a great evening at the vista and I would happily return!

We had Aussie Burgers (incl one with gluten free bun) here again for lunch. Well prepared, tasty and filling. Quick and friendly service. Sat inside due to poor weather. Newspapers available to read. Good value and now accept credit card payment but 1.5% surcharge.

Dropped in here for coffee after lunch elsewhere. Upstairs with views towards beach and along Great Ocean Road. Empty so prompt and friendly service. Cappuccinos were fine. Comfortable and relaxing coffee break with a view.

As soon as you walk in you can smell the beautiful dishes ever, the staff are so friendly and always serve with a smile. Now on to the food, My family and I had lots of dishes but overall my favourite was the southern fried chicken just perfectly cooked and leaves your mouth with that beautiful taste that you will remember for a long time. - pauls sonharryThank you, Harry, for your wonderful review. We wandered along the front looking for somewhere to eat, and chose this place as it looked privately owned. Best meal in 4 weeks. So good we went back for breakfast.Only downside is that eating outside we were bothered by flies, but that's not their fault, and the flies clearly had good taste.So go, but eat inside.Well thank you for your nice review. I agree that the fly's are bad. I have been informed by other Restaurant owners that they have there business sprayed each year to prevent this problem. I have nearly done this but I can't get the thought out of my head that if Fly's can't live here for 12 months, then what is the spray doing to my staff and patrons? Therefore, I just keep buying the Mortein fly spray and just use this. Thanks anyway for your comments,CheersMark

Just lunch cake and coffee for a couple of days, good on all accounts, nice gluten free bread as well. Nice feel as a smallish cafe with very good friendly service.

Chris's resteraunt is at the top of beacon point overlooking Apollo Bay. Absolutely beautiful resteraunt, my wife and I went for our anniversary dinner. We are both simple people but when presented with a steak at the cost of $55 we both turned a little pale, then it came out and we tasted it. It was one of the most amazing things we have ever tried, all of a sudden we didnt care how much it was it was worth every cent and we would go back.
