We only had a take-away from this restaurant so I can't comment on the atmosphere or service within the restaurant. We ordered a beef dish which was very good, and lemongrass chicken but there was no detectable sign of any lemongrass. it was also supposed to be mildly spicy but there was no sign of chilli in it either. I was nonetheless quite a good dish but clearly not what I ordered or expected. It's for this reason that I give it only 3 out of 5.

Katsu is a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Bright. We have a compact menu including sushi rolls, Yakitori, Karaage, Gyoza, Tonkatsu, Japanese Curry, Sashimi and reasonal dishes. Its all fresh and made on premises. So come on in and enjoy our food and

Around lunchtime and thoughts turn to something delicious to eat in the park by the Ovens in the sunshine.My son recommended this Japanese cafe as being one of the best. He was right.The rolls were excellent and the Asian bowl filled the twins with the ginger for me.The cafe has degradable cutlery and bowls.Next time you are in Bright, call in to the friendly staff and enjoy the meal.There are seats in the street if that is your wish.Thank you for your very kind review. We look forward to seeing you again sometime and giving you a Japanese food experience.

We arrived in Bright around dinner time on the Monday of the Labor Day long weekend We decided upon eating Chinese and we are very happy we did All meals we ordered were flavoursome and generous in portion size For a Chinese restaurant in a country town to serve food of this quality was a surprise and much appreciated I would recommend eating at this restaurant without hesitation All meals ordered were greatMixed Mongolian Sizzling hotplate Special Fried RiceSweet and Sour Pork Spring RollsPrawn Cutlets
