Directly on the slope, just above Cervinia village, this restaurant offers hearty portions of outstanding quality. Highly recommend for everyone who looks for fine dinning after skiing in high altitudes.

La Luge

Wow. Stayed at La Luge with a group of friends for a long weekend. The rooms were cosy, comfortable and chic. The food was delicious with vegetarians well catered for. Very good value for money. Great wine list. Lovely Sauna area. 'Super Paolo', as we called him, could not have done more for us. La Luge is around a 5 minute drive from Cervinia town/ski lifts. Paolo drove us in every morning and picked us up every evening. What a man. See you next year!

we have already been twice in this new restaurant in Cervinia and both times we loved it. The kitchen offers an original menu very different from the usual restaurants that are in this splendid gem under the Matterhorn mountain: fish and vegetarian cooked by two young talent chefs , excellent also the selection of wines.

Le Bistrot de l'Abbe

Reviewed By Alpenglowtraveler

If you are not an Italian don't go here and expect to be treated respectfully. We were not treated well from start to finish and we were treated differently than other Italian patrons. Others got lots of bread and fresh breadsticks. We got stale bread and no breadsticks. We ordered a 5 euro plate of roast vegetables which consisted of 4 slices of potatoes, two thin slices if eggplant, a slice of onion and two small slices of red pepper. Very poor and cold. Our pasta dishes were good. We ordered a 1/4 liter of house wine which was delivered as a small bottle of local red of fair quality. When the bill came we were charged 16 euros for the wine. We got into a heated debate with the owner about the wine and it was reduced to 4 euros but not without a very disrespectful attitude. Overall a very bad experience. Buyer beware.
