Rivas-Vaciamadrid (Spanish: [ˈriβaz βaθjamaˈðɾið], locally [-ˈðɾiθ, -ˈðɾi]) is the 15th most populated city in the Community of Madrid, Spain. It belongs to the Madrid metropolitan area and is located just 15 km from central Madrid, to the south-east. In the southern part of the municipality, the Manzanares river flows into the Jarama, which is part of the Lower Manzanares and Jarama Rivers Regional Park. Almost three quarters of the municipality form part of the park, making it an important ecological centre with numerous lakes and various species of wildlife and fauna.

I was here for a business dinner. The location is very nice. The staff is not always kind, someone was a little bit too nervous. Food not a the same level of the location.Agradecidos por sus comentarios, para nosotros es muy importante conocer vuestras opinión. Os esperamos pronto.

I went there with my family, the best was my salmon prepared in a Japanese style, it was very good The food concept was noveau cuisine for Mediterranean food, the tiraditos were great, specially the pulpo one Friendly and good service

My cousin told me it was the best cocido en Madrid!, I quiet like it, it was an impressive cocido menu, the soup with pasta, the garbanzos, the meat, the bacon I enjoyed, the restaurant decor not good looking, but service and food was goodThanks Guillermo for your review. Cuando surgió la idea de ir a un vegetariano lo primero que pensé era en comida saludable pero no es el caso. El menú infantil traía una concreta de bolsa aceitosa y con una capa de rebozado de un centímetro. La salchicha estaba malísima. Nuestra hamburguesa con un filete de calabacín con otro rebozado tremendo, seca y nada apetecible. La tarta, industrial. El trato bueno y el sitio pintoresco. Defraudado.

Personally the best place to have tapas in Rivas Vaciamadrid. A good atmosphere, lovely wines, amazing tapas,... and the best the price. The only problem is that is always full and you have to wait to get a table. For me this is the prove of its success, isn't it?

No voy a repetir lo ya escrito en mi anterior opinión, simplemente resaltar que esta vez fuimos de menu del día (también en grupo) y la verdad es que equivocación total.
Ejemplo: Fuimos varios los que pedimos el calamar a la plancha y era malo malo , estaba duro y no había quien lo comiera. Las alcahofas bien.
Recomendación, cuidado con el menu del día...

Me llevó una amiga, y yo me espera que fuera una tetería típica árabe, con cachimbas y dos tés cutres o un café con cardamomo. ¿y qué me encontré? una carta de tés, desde kuchika a oolong, pasando por un montón de tipos de rooibos y otros más. Y lo mejor fue al servir, una tetera preciosa, para tí (no esas cutreces de hojalata) me dieron ganas de llevármela. Fui para negocios y vi familias, y parejas, y amigas, me sentí muy cómodo y cálido, si viviera más cerca pasaría las tardes allí (pensad en poner un aula de estudio y montaré una tienda de campaña en la entrada). No solo repetimos té, sino que pedí las tortitas, con nata y caramelo, increíbles, recién hechas, y de calidad de la buena, así como los tés. El personal super amable, y el ambiente relajado.
Quizás haya zonas poco iluminadas, pero es parte de su encanto.
Y otra cosa que me encantó es que no vinieron corriendo a quitarme el vaso y la tetera (como en muchos sitios hacen, como insinuándote que pidas más o te vayas) quizás estuvimos dos horas con un té, y nadie dijo nada, y eso que estaba abarrotado.
Volveré para probar el resto de la carta :P

I've eaten here a few times now over the last few years and it's mainly the best place I've eaten in Madrid. Went twice this week, first time I had the most amazing Jamon, an Argentinian empanadas to die for and for mains I had one of the steaks. Medium rare and grilled to perfection. Just tasted so damn good. Second time we went we just had the quick daily menu for nearly €10 and it was extremely tasty too. Can't recommend enough.
