De Zoelensche Brug is the right place for a great food experience. It is located in a beautiful area; the Betuwe with lots of fruit trees, along the river. The terras is really nice. We experienced the 6 course chef's tasting menu. I loved every one of them! They look like paintings and tast beautiful. The restaurant has a lot of separate rooms, so you can also have a private party. The owners, Jeffrey and Cindy, are a really nice young couple with great ideas. So they would like to start a beer brewery in the Herberg De Zoelensche Brug as well. Congratulations with your new restaurant! It is a pleasure to be there.

I had visited Kalkoentje several years ago and had more or less forgotten about is. But when a friend invited me to his birthday celebration there I was very surprised! Excellent food and wine, in various original presentations. Outstanding service, attending to the special needs of some of the guests. I absolutely will be back!

I was here for a business talk with somebody. The coffee they served at De Kluis is perfect and price worth. Sagefredo. Like in Italy. Delicious cappuccino. Friendly personnel. De Kluis is attractively located in the centre of Doorn, with a heated terrace. Good and friendly staff.

We've been here in NL for two weeks. Finally someone nailed the clique madam. Great fries, soup, bread and cheese as well. Service is good and the chef is excellent!

Had dinner at Het Heerenlogement with a couple of ex colleagues. Upon arrival, the fireplace was burning and there was a cosy atmosphere. They have a nice menu with a couple of good dishes, however, it was somewhat unfortunate not everything was available. The wine list was okay, albeit they didn't have a Pinot Gris which is a quite common wine to serve. Prices for the food were decent; for the wine I found prices somewhat elevated. All in all it was a good dinner.

Who says that perfection does not exist?We had one of the best dining experiences of the past few years in Bentinck, housed in the former stables of the castle. From amuse to friandise, and the four courses in between -- all were excellent, both in terms of taste and in terms of the aesthetics of presentation. The young waiting staff proved enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and attentive.If you should eat outside, don't forget to walk in to admire the splendid textile art (several meters long) by one of Holland's finest artists, Claudy Jongstra.Highly recommended!

Visited this place this morning with my husband...we were looking for a brunch spot. We couldnât have been happier with this spot which we stumbled upon by chance. The back yard is a delightful leafy sanctuary, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the service was personable, friendly and professional. If youâre ever looking for a breakfast/ brunch/ lunch/ coffee spot in Wijk bij Duurstede, go!

Restaurant Voltaire is new in our area and managed by Chef Marco Westmaas. We had a 7 course menu with exquisit tastes from all over the planet accompanied by some great wines. If you are prepared to travel a bit we certainly recommend the journey laid out by the chef. Wijk bij Duurstede is a typically lunch village for the senior citizens, motor bikers and cyclist. If you do not belong , you really feel out of place. Florian serves good lunches. The owner and staff make you feel welcome. Everything is homemade (excluding fries). We ordered the classic club with lavish chicken, egg and bacon. Great taste. The croquettes with white bread were very good. THe fries are really superb. If you are in Wijk bij Duurstede .. have lunch here!

The Restaurant Klooster offer great dishes. They are prepared with the utmost effort. Service is friendly and attentive. The wines could have been a bit more expressive to my taste however overall it offers a great getaway from your daily business. Really worth the visit
