Went here for Christmas Eve Chinese food. I enjoyed the experience, the staff was really friendly and really helpful, I loved the atmosphere and decor, for a strip-mall Chinese restaurant, they really have made it look nice. However, I came primarily to eat and the food simply didn't cut much above average. It is consistent with any other Chinese place in being average and though they do make up a bit more in staff and ambiance, it doesn't deserve more than an average rating. I can't recommend it above any other regular Chinese place.

We were close by and ran a search for restaurants near by. There were many choices but this one caught our eye and it just seemed unique. We ordered a rice bowl and a beef burrito. We had no idea it was going to be like a big oriental wrap. It was so good, so fresh and we can't wait to go back to try some of the other creations. Highly recommend this place.

Absolutely awesome! The best meal we've had since moving to Sandy. Best Pho we've ever had and we've had Pho all over US. Also had fresh spring rolls- fantastic. We will definitely be going back soon!

I order from Asian Potato 2x a month. Love the green curry chicken and thai fried rice. Always fresh, hot, and delivered quickly. This is the best delivery thai food out there in Sandy, Utah. Highly recommended. We always order chicken curry, thai fried rice, and orange chicken.

Wow! What an experience! Long story short, amazing, somewhat familiar Asian flavors in something completely different.Being from Southern California, our family has tons of experience with the best specialized cuisine from all over Asia. BUT we didn't have a whole lot of experience with Indonesian street cart food. We had no idea the treasure we had in store for us:Appetizers:Lumpia - crispy deep fried, pork-filled goodness with a sweet chili sauce.Roti Canal - crispy and chewly naan-like flat bread with a deeply savory curry dipping sauce.So, we were pretty hungry when we got to the restaurant, and anything would have really appeased us, but...Nasi Goreng Jawa - killer fried rice with sprouts and eggEefoo Mie - crispy noodles with veggies, seafood, and chicken in a savory brown sauce that eventually seeps into the crispy noodle...wowAyam Bakar - perfectly grilled chickenRed Curry Fish - lots of familiar thai-like curry flavor with fried fishand finally a Cah Kangkung - spinach in garlic sauce served on a sizzling cast iron platterWill repeat!

Went here for dinner and had some xcellent pad Thai. Also had some curry noodle and egg plant. The egg plant was just ok but the curry was good and as I have said excellent pad thai. Also had Tom Tom that was ok. Service was quick and efficient. The decor is pretty simple and it is an obvious family run restaurant. Pricing is very reasonable.

I've been to plenty of teppanyaki restaurants all over, and this one was decent for Sandy, UT, the staff were friendly and service was good, but as a whole experience it was lacking. It could've been because our tables other patrons were not very enthusiastic/energetic/friendly, my friend and I were the only ones who seemed excited to be there. The chef only gives you 2 sauces for dipping, I've been to teppanyaki places where they give you 8 different sauces, some of which are mixed/made right in front of you... typically on average at least 3-4 sauces are given for dipping at these types of restaurants. I would suggest the chefs add more sauces!The food was good, the steak and shrimp were cooked just right, but with pretty mediocre dipping flavors. The warm sake was good. The fried rice was pretty bland. I've had spicy ones and much more flavorful ones at other places. My friend really liked all of it though as she has never really experienced this type of dining before, so maybe for first timers it's a great experience. Prices were also good value IMO. They seem to be doing very well, it was still busy when we came in at 8:30pm and people were still walking in after we sat down and started eating. All in all we would go back if I'm in Utah again.

The building stand alone and the pace has excellent operations which makes for a great customer experience in controlled environment. Fortunately the food is even better than the operations. Clearly fresh ingredients on the vegetable kung pao tofu. Spicy, savory, delicious. The pot stickers were perfect. The service was the best.

Didnât expect the 7pm hour of a Thursday night to be as busy. The service remain fast and the atmosphere friendly and comfortable. The fires doing rolls were excellent and the curry and rice were delicious. Customers were well dressed, obviously here for important and special occasions.

Slow time of day, 3pm. Ordered my favorite: small plate short ribs minus green onions. Plated beautifully as usual. Meat was undercooked. And I just couldnt bring myself to send it back- general rumors ya know.My daughter joined later and service was very slow. We ordered coconut glory dessert minus coconut flakes. The ice cream was ginger instead of coconut.Tsunami usually does not disappoint, but it did today and this was my first time at the SJ location.Tracie- Thank you for sharing your recent experience at our South Jordan location.
