Called here for a light lunch. We all had sandwiches which had very generous fillings and accompanied by salad and crisps. The service was very friendly and efficient and the prices reasonable. Only a few tables though in common with many small tearooms.

Very good independent cafe. Nothing too much trouble and will do more or less anything you ask. Beans on toast poached eggs on top and grated cheese on top of the eggs please, no problem sir. Come here regularly with friends when out on a bike ride. Always buzzing but always space too and always great service even with young and less experienced staff.

We were exploring Suffolk towns and villages and were in Clare at lunchtime. This cafe looked inviting and proved to be so. We were welcomed with a smile and offered a table inside or in the garden. The sun was shining so we settled for the tiny back garden where four tables were set out among the flowers. The menu had a variety of lunch options and an all day breakfast menu from which we both selected scrambled eggs and crumpets. The food arrived promptly, well presented and tasted good. There was plenty of butter oozing from the toasted crumpets and the scrambled egg was done to perfection. The scones the people were eating on a nearby table looked very good too and I would be tempted to try those on another occasion. Clare on a sunny day is delightful to wander around and Cafe Clare an ideal place for a light lunch.

Thoroughly enjoyable lunch in very pleasant âbohoâ? surroundings. We selected from a selection of freshly cooked individual quiches served with salad and new potatoes. Very tasty, freshly cooked and no microwave anywhere. Friendly staff in relaxed atmosphere.

Shopped at this branch of Sainsburys for more than 25 years. Recently have found the staff rude and disinterested in helping. I never use now for food shopping, just use their clothing department which does provide good quality at very reasonable prices. Staff in the bureau de change are almost always at lunch and you can wait unacknowledged at the pharmacy for ages. BTW, Best and most helpful pharmacist by far in Haverhill is the one opposite the library, next to St Marys Church in the town centre.

Played golf here the other day, had a great breakfast before we started playing, they also do Sunday roasts and lunches during the week. The breakfast was excellent, great service great food and reasonable prices.

Often use Brownies, nice friendly people, eat in or take away pies are spot on the only downside for me is the Liquor could be greener and stronger Nice to have a bit of London out here

I come here fairly often and am never disappointed. Different teas on offer. I usually get a fresh salad and am never disappointed. Always crisp fresh and so much! I'm lactose and gluten intolerant but never leave here disappointed. So much choice. And the staff are friendly and helpful. And it is so reasonable!

While visiting a friend who lives in the area, we decided to pop in for a drink. We were not disappointed! Doffyâs is a true gem - beautiful homemade scones & the Irish tea really hit the spot! All the staff were so attentive & friendly, next time Iâm in the area I will definitely return!!
