This is a great restaurant, and we have had many good meals but when I collect food they don't provide any discount and no freebies like extra poppadum's, things to put on poppodum's etc. which is pretty unusual in the competitive market that is takeaway food in Bedford.If you want a nice and cheap takeaway I'd go elsewhere!Hi! Unfortunately many restaurants have fallen prey to this cycle and created a culture of 'freebies' which as a result has had a severe impact on their bottom line. Many restaurants have opened over the years and many sadly, have closed. Upon closer inspection you will find that such practices play a major role to the failure or success of a business.We believe it is also important for our customers to be made aware of this and if they truly enjoy the food and wish the business stay open, then we would in turn hope that we are supported as a local business.In addition to this, when we follow suite of neighbouring outlets and match offers, there will be a pricing war which only damages the business in the long run. Only those with larger pools of capital can sustain the loss as smaller outlets suffer and eventually fail.We hope this has given light to the situation and answered your question as it is something that we felt was important to address.

Went here for our daughters birthday as itâs one of their favourites.The service from Moses was first rate and the food was really good with a great selection on the specials as well as the standard menu.Fairly quiet but that is expected on a Monday night but couldnât fault any aspect of the evening.Thank you for taking your time out to leaving us a review on your experience with us at deshi spice restaurant we appreciate your feedback and celebrating your daughter's birthday with us

Not quuuite as good as our favourite place to get an Indian takeaway but nice enough if we are being a little lazy and would like our takeaway delivery. We have had several now and all have been hot when they arrived and very yummy.

We went for the gourmet night which is great value for money and includes a starter, main, side, rice or naan and coffee. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was good and staff friendly. My family and I have been going to this restaurant every Saturday for over 2 years,We pre-book as from midweek on wards it gets very busy,Also after 7pm at weekends it fills up quickly and if party's are in it can get a bit loud as people try talk over 1 another.(The only down side)Food always excellent hot and very tasty staff are friendly and will recommend meals to try out if unsure.If your out and fancy an curry,eat in or take away,I would highly recommend this restaurant.times we bump into many returning customers so I need to say no more!10/10Terry Julie and JoeTerry Julie and Joe, you guys are apart of our furniture. Enjoyed an excellent meal, faultless food and service. Even though a total idiot had placed a dummy order for £100 putting their kitchen under unnecessary pressure, our meal was still piping hot and delicious. Was visiting family who live in sandy this week, popped in for a mid week curry.Restaurant had a few people in it, got seated straight away and the service was good.Our food order was taken in good time, we ate chicken Madras, lamb Parthia, rice, mushroom Bhaji, sag aloo, all the food was hot and very tasty.I have no idea how much the bill was as I did not pay!l I donât think it was overly pricey.I would visit again if in the area and would recommend.
