Driven by the Green Cross hundreds of times in the last 15 years and always meant to try........ finally did........ should have visited earlier........ fantastic food ...friendly efficient service...... good atmosphere. The menu is very fish orientated and all we ate between the four of us was excellent. This will become regular. One suggestion ..... a better choice of cider would be good.......

Eight for lunch in a really busy pub/restaurant. Two course carvery and dessert for £17.50. Very good value and excellent food. Unlimited carvery including meat. Plenty of choices-4/5 meats, 4/5 vegs and lovely desserts to choose from.Lovely helpful staff really promote wellbeing and enjoyment of the place.Will defo return.

This is a stylish, chic, special venue. If you donât like seafood and Champagne/Prosecco, donât bother. If you donât appreciate fine food prepared with love, stay clear! This is a special place for romance, business, celebration or simply appreciation. We had the oysters to stray, which were lovely, accompanied by a bottle of Prosecco. Just wonderful. Then we had the lemon sole on the bone, simply grilled with a marinade/sauce. The new potatoes and green beans were a good addition. Their (red) Primitivo is very special, silky smooth and full of fruit. Quite outstanding. What a wonderful evening with friends: quiet, sophisticated, great service, and superb cuisine.

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime, restaurant was quite busy. Fish of the day sea bass was good as was the paella and fish and chips. Service was ok
