We had our second family visit to Pesto last Sunday and it was just as good as the first. Everyone ordered 3 dishes which is plenty and the variety is impressive. The mushrooms on brushetta we're lovely as was the scallop dish I ordered. Everyone enjoyed it even my very hard to please eldest daughter which was a real bonus!!!Italian tapas is definitely something different from the norm and I can really recommend it as the quality and choice are excellent. It's also pretty reasonably priced apart from the cocktails, but they are expensive wherever you go and the pornstar martinis went down well with the 3 generations of ladies in our family!Finally a special mention to our waiter Jak Frost (yes that's his real name) who was a star all evening. Very polite and attentive which also made for a lovely night.We will return!

Poor food and customer service, wonât be returning again!! Highlighted an issue with two of the meals to the waitress, it wasnât dealt with at all and we had to chase the waitress up...slow service and very outdatedWe are always pleased to receive feedback. Obviously positive reviews are our preference, but we do appreciate the opportunity to be able to improve where necessary. It wouldnât be right and it is clearly a waste of time to get into a debate on Trip Advisor regarding what happened. We have addressed this review once and the original appears to have been removed along with our response. We are sure that our regular customers know and hopefully new customers will see for themselves, that while perhaps our restaurant, food and staff are not everyoneâs cup of tea, we are worth a visit

Went for date night meal having last been couple if years ago. Looked forward to excellent food but not to be. My pizza was extremely tasty but only had 1/3 of it covered. Rest was just plain pizza base. My wife had seafood dish but the different elements had not be prepared or cleaned very well. May have been ok in a rustic restaurant off the beaten track abroad but definitely not good enough for us.Will take a lot of persuasion to go back.Dear Customer,Thank you for choosing to eat at Viva. However, Its a shame you didnt enjoy your meal with us.Our floor staff are told to do table checks to make sure customers are satisfied with there food with every table. If there are any issues (which there shouldnt be) then we will change the dish or remake a fresh dish for the customer. Its disappointing when customers do not speak up during their meal in order for us to make sure they leave the restaurant satisfied rather than disappointed.We hope you will try Viva again in the future.
