My wife and I visited Nipa Hut in Newport for an evening meal with our friends.We were treated to a great welcome by the staff and chef who is the owner.The food is superb quality, a real taste of the phillipines at a really affordable price.It was great to try so many different types of phillipino food and I have to say that everything we tried was excellent.We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu !!Definitely worth a visit.

I've been here lots over the past 2 years and it's the only fish and chips take away we use. However on a recent visit I was really disappointed with the fish. The batter was thick and greasy. The fish was thin and didn't have much taste. I'm not sure if it was a one off or things have changed. Maybe things will pick up but for the time being I've been put off.

Having been here before i was looking forward to a nice fish and chip meal. This time I'm sad to say that the meal was horrible. The fish was dried out so much that i had to leave most of the batter and the fish was also very dry. Most of the chips were very small and hard. This has put me off eating there again.
