We are a family run traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Monmouth.

Wednesday 16th October 2019. Dinner for 2. We arrived without booking and were surprised to find most tables taken; it's a popular place, and no wonder on the basis of our visit. The atmosphere is warm and friendly as is the service. Decent food too with a feeling that much is home cooked. Reasonable value. All in all a very pleasant night out. Recommended.

We ordered antipasto, calabrese pizza and lasagna and they were very delicious. The staff was also nice. We liked it so much that we ate there again in February when we went again to Monmouth. We also think that the layout of the restaurant is very good because it feels more spacious and it is nice to see how the staff prepares the drinks and puddings.

This was our fourth visit to Amici, although this was the first at lunchtime. Excellent value lunch at just £7.95 for pasta or pizza. Good service, freshly cooked food and value for money. What else could you want ? Highly recommended Visit number five will be along very soon.
