Had Sunday lunch at The New Inn and was very impressed with the quality of food, the standard of service and friendly welcome. A very comprehensive menu with some veggie options, we had the roast beef which was delicious. In my view one of the best pubs for Sunday lunch in the district.The pub is welcoming of dogs which is important to us when we eat out.

Great selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, cakes at affordable prices. My main criticism is they have a new member of staff who is not very generous with the filling. Now, considering you are paying for essentially the filling and not some bread, this has caused disappointment for my colleagues and myself on several occasions; when I called to make a formal complaint, they asked me to call back later!
