Just been to the Chulmleigh tandoori. Absolutely fantastic food. We are visiting the area for a week and thought we would try here, we weren't disappointed. We are from Manchester where we have many fantastic indian restaurants on our doorstep. So we were a bit apprehensive about an indian restaurant in a village! But from the minute we walked through the door the service was amazing! Great food and friendly staff and very reasonable priced. If you are in the area you definitely need to try this place.Many thanks for your review and you are most welcome

Have eaten here a few times now. Can't fault it. 10 OUT OF 10 all round. The staff are helpful, and will always be there to explain any menu queries. They don't sell alcohol but its fine to take your own, they'll even chill it for you.

This restaurant looked appealing from the outside, contemporary seating near the window but open entering we were directed down two flights of stairs to a lower seating area that resembled a cellar, so low my husband could not stand up without hitting his head on the ceiling !!! This area lacked the lovely modern feeling of the upstairs and felt old claustrophobic.We ate the meal because we had been out all day and were both hungry but it lacked flavour and did nothing to make us want to return.
