We stopped over for lunch while visiting Liverpool. Food was good and staff friendly. Arabic origin cooks which means it wilk be as authentic as possible. But honestly was a bit disappointed in the fattouch itself as it wasn't as it should have been traditionally made. It should include "baqleh" or water cress and fresh mint leaves and romane lettuce with copious amounts of sumac as dressing. Unfortunately it wasn't the case.Would recommend it though Hi Fatema , Thank you a lot for your feedback Glad you enjoyed your time at Fattoush Regarding the Fattoush salad some items like paqla can not be found in the uk this is depend on the weather also roman we always add pomegranate and pomegranate sauce on Fattoush salad plus good amount of sumak. Have several groups to Elif the past few years and they have never disappointed. Really good, authentic Turkish cuisine prepared fresh on site. Huge variety on the menu too. Service is always good too. By far the best Turkish restaurant in Liverpool!

We had 10 tapas style dishes in total between three and all were amazing. We really enjoyed this meal. One of the best we have had in Liverpool. It's not a restaurant that is in the centre, but the quality of the food is excellent and well worth making the effort to get to. The fish and seafood is amazing, but for those wanting an alternative there are some equally good choices. On a personal level my only disappointment was the choice of wines, particularly the rose which didn't fit the quality of the food. 5 stars for the food, but not for the wine choices. Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant, especially for saying that we are worth making the effort to get to! We appreciate we are away from town, but we hope you agree we have a stunning location right on the waterfront with the most glorious views and sunsets! Met my friend for a coffee,the place itself reminds me of typical Italian Cafe,warming and pleasant. Served by a polite person and didnât wait long for my Americano(hot) prices are cheaper than some Italian cafes,but beer/wine always seem to be a bit on the high side. I enjoyed my visit, and will definitely call in again.

Bacchus Taverna is a modest looking little place on a busy Liverpool street near the cruise ship dock, but it's a gem. The inside is tidy and welcoming and our waiter was very kind and helpful. We had Kleftiko (slow roasted lamb shoulder) and Keftedia (lamb & pork meatballs in a fragrant tomato sauce). Our main dishes were accompanied by green beans with tomato & onion, rice lightly dressed with tomato sauce & roasted potatoes. We shared a plate of Saganaki for our appetizer. The lamb shoulder was fork tender, the 6 meatballs were handmade & tasty. All the food was spiced perfectly & our waiter took wonderful care of us! Definitely a placed we'd enjoy returning to.

I've been here twice. You are seated quickly and have your order taken pretty quickly too. Staff have been friendly.Starters are very nice, would recommend the Breads/Meats/Olives platter.My main (Spaghetti Carbonara) was really nice, my partner had the Calzone which was very watery inside, not the best.Trying to get the wait staffs attention for more drinks and the bill was a bit of a nightmare, despite it being quite empty. We had to go up to the bar to get the bill and pay, as the wait staff were sat at the bar chatting.

We booked this on the fly just an hour and a half prior to a concert at the Floral Pavilion. Even the phone call to book made me smile as the person sounded delighted to take the booking.We received a lovely welcome and the waiter went through the specials, explaining them clearly to us. The food came in good time and was the most delicious food I've had in a restaurant for a long time - totally home-made and fresh. Prices were very reasonable and we came away fully satisfied and delighted with the experience!!Thank you all concerned! :-)

Popped in for a spot of lunch OH had pil pil prawns,squid and whitebait...all cooked ok. But the whitebait may have benefitted from a garlic aioli.I had the ploughmans..nothing special.i felt the prices for this was slightly steep considering the portion size.My main gripe was the smell....a very musty almost drain like smell with quite honestly put me off eating but as we had already ordered i would have felt bad cancelling it.We would visit again but definately not sit inside to eat. Whist finishing my drink outside i overheard a group of ladies saying about the funny smell too.Whatever the aroma was I hope you are able to sort it
