We thought weâd give the no. 7 Temple another try after a rather ordinary meal some time back but we were sadly disappointed yet again. After our genuinely excellent starters we were really heartened and thought that theyâd âupped their gameâ but our two different mains were yet again very poor - the two meals (a Goan fish curry and a chicken dish ) came with exactly the same sauce! The restaurant doesnât marinade its food and just adds different meat/fish to a generic sauce which adds up to a very untasty dish! This is a cheap way of cooking and not up to the standard of the other local Indian restaurants. We wonât be returning.

Have reviewed this restaurant a couple of times over the last five years or more. I have brought many friends here and all have been delighted. The food is flavoursome and the service wonderful. If there is a problem the team is always happy to resolve. Is it 100 pct consistent - no - but even on an off day it is still great. If it is busy (in or takeaway) you may have to wait. I love finding new dishes and am delighted that there are still dishes that can be found. Chicken patia, lamb dansak and sag chicken great dishes. Served with dry vegetable curry, sag mushoom (a little saucy) and a bhindi bhargie. A chipati or a naan. Washed down with a pint of cobra. Lovely evening. Dont miss out.

My husband and I have eaten at the Ivory Tusk countless times over the years and always found the food superb. Tonight the popadoms were exceptional and could have floated off the plate. The atmosphere was buzzing and it is always spotless. The service can sometimes be sometimes be slow but considering the kitchen is dealing with a full restaurant and take-away too it's hardly surprising.Thank you for your kind comments. We only use the best ingredients available and cook fresh everyday. We believe quality food can only be prepared with with a little patience, and so we ask for this little extra time to seek perfection in our dishes.

A very warm welcome awaits you from the management and staff at Namaste Gurkha, one of the West London's most exclusive and exciting Nepalese and Indian dining experiences. Namaste Gurkha is a landmark of outstanding culinary excellence, serving exotic, m
If you are looking for great Nepalese food with very friendly service then do visit Namaste Gurkha. It is not a large restaurant so ensure you book, especially on a weekend. Popular with families as children are very welcomeâ¦which adds to the hubbub of the overall atmosphere. Leave some space for dessert as the âcarrot specialtyâ is well worth trying.Dr. JoyMadden, Thank U for leaving us a review. We are glad that U enjoyed our food and service. Our staff will be glad to hear of your high praise. Your detailed feedback is impressive and we hope to carry on delivering the same experience on your every visit. Take care. For dessert , I had apple pie with custard on the side, and hubby had the sticky toffee pudding, The food was nice and tasty and staff as usual always attentive. A friend recommended that we visit this restaurant. We eat at a lot at Indian/Bangladesh restaurants so I guess we have high standards. We were the first table to be seated at 6pm on a Tuesday and when we left there were only two other tables occupied, however, the service was very slow. Our waiter took our order leaning over the bar rather than choosing to stand by our table. My Bangla beer was cold but could have been a bit colder, my personal preference. We chose the spicy Papadums but should have chosen the plain. The food was ok but not plentiful as in other restaurants we visit. I had the Madras, it was quite nice but the madras flavour was a little bit lacking. Other restaurants offer a complimentary drink with the bill, Mumbai Square donât. All in all, quite nice but will not be returning.

A restaurant serving the exciting taste of many regions of India combined with style, flair and presentation.
Year since my last visit. Quality and standards as high as ever. Always have the meat thali as rare in Indian restaurants. Dishes different to your usual Indian menus. Absolutely wonderful. Service impeccable. Busy even on a Monday night. Free car park outside.

If you are anywhere near Weybridge by car or train, this gem of a restaurant must be visited. There is a good range of authentic Nepalese cuisine to satisfy all palates, and (a major plus point) what must be the best and widest vegetarian choices for many
I had high hopes having read the TA reviews and being so highly rated.I was a bit disappointed to be honest. There was nothing wrong with it but i wouldn't return which is the acid test. The food was decent without being great - green chicken and a duck dish. A side of cauli was very good and the naan a bit doughy, We we served by two waiters - once a very smiley person. The second rarely have eye contact nor smiled. He also reached over our table to retrieve dishes - when he should have stepped aside and done so - which is the correct etiquette.I am working in the area again soon - and I had hoped to return to this restaurant - but won't be which is a shame,Note - it's a small restaurant so it's advisable to book. We booked - but weren't asked if we had booked,

We live in Shepperton and haven't been to School of Spice for quite a while preferring another local Indian restaurant. However we were very pleasantly surprised. First rate and prawn tandoori was exceptional. We will now be regulars
