I’ve been a huge fan of Aromas since it opened, and I was so excited to head there for breakfast after coming back from our holiday. One of the dishes we ordered was scrambled eggs on toast, but what arrived was a piece of toast cut in half on a side plate, and one egg scrambled and over cooked on the side of it. I asked the waiter and waitress that this was very underwhelming and not what we were expecting, and they said that that’s what we get because it had gone through the till separately as one egg and a piece of toast. Fair enough, misunderstanding happen, but when we asked if we could have what we actually ordered, they said they’d speak to someone and never came back. On our way out, the barista who served us asked if we got our second meal, but she was quickly hushed by her manager and told “no”. Just a very odd experience when it comes to customer service. I have heard others say that it doesn’t have that personal touch when it comes to dealing with customers, but never experienced it myself until now. Honestly, go to Nikki’s Cafe just around the corner. The food is much better quality and the service is spectacular. And this is coming from a food and travel blogger Dear Kledi;Thank you once again for your review after instagram and google. We are very sorry to hear about your disappointment due to the misunderstanding. We always work very hard to make sure all our guests are treated well and leave us satisfied. Thank you for your regular visits since we opened and the love you shared so far. Assuming you had a positive customer service experience so far, you would not doubt that we would try our very best to make it right for you. Unfortunately, there was no request came through to remake your order. We are still committed to make it up should you decide to give us another chance. Just let us know your name if you decide to come back and let us treat you on us. Kind regards

We recently stayed in the Chertsey Travelodge and came here for breakfast on two days. The food was amazing and nothing was too much for them to do.We sat upstairs and basically had the place to ourselves. Whilst waiting for our food we were able to watch the news on the large TV.The coffee was beautiful and much nicer than that from the national coffee brandsWe will definitely be back when we next visit.

Our first time for breakfast but it wont be the last! Lovely people running the café and can't do enough to ensure that customers are happy. I had mushroom omelette with chips and salad, daughter had 2 slices of toast with marmalade and finally hubby had full English breakfast. The egg on toast and the breakfast had coffee or orange juice included in the price. All meals were very nice. The café is clean and tidy, has toilets, newspapers and outside seating if preferred.Must try a lunch there sometime.Italian ice cream by the cone is also available.

I tried this place for the first time and loved it! Great menu with hearty fare, very nice ambience and excellent service! The bistro is set in a converted Victorian shop with lots of original features. I had the Club Chicken Cesar Sandwich and it was delicious.

Wow, highly recommend this place. We found it by chance as we were staying in the Premier Inn just down the road. We went in for breakfast. When we went in the staff greeted us and were very pleasant. When we were ready to order they came over. I had a cheese and mushroom omelet which came with chips or salad. It was amazing. My husband had the big breakfast which was fab, our three children had a combination of beans on toast, sausage on toast and toast. All of which were lovely. Drinks were also good. They then brought us some complementary chips. All the food was lovely and very reasonablely priced. We went back the following morning and everything was equally as nice. We will definitely be back when we are next there. Thank you

Love this garden centre, have watch it grow for forty plus years, remembering when it was a hut.No restaurant then but a joy to visit in those days, wonderful place.I have no idea what has gone wrong with the restaurant. It was brilliant, great food and charming 'happy' staff willing to serve you even when busy.Decided to have a breakfast there, it was not terribly busy at the time.Ordered our coffee and food. The coffee came quickly enough but sadly not out food.In fact we asked where it was.Eventually it came, and was returned immediately the mushrooms were cold!!And the rest of the meal not much warmer. As for the bacon I can only assume at the breakfast time some is precooked and just warmed when a breakfast is ordered,,,,,IT was like cardboard and naturally after the cold breakfast was returned, no doubt shoved in a microwave the bacon was so hard crispy was not a word I could use.The eggs now overcooked seriously we were hard pushed to eat it.AND HAD TO GO ourselves and get some butter for the toast. It seemed at this visit the majority of the staff were 'confused' as to what they were doing and had left any charm they may have had at home.

The Olive Tree Cafe

This place has opened up under new management and they're not doing a bad job of replicating what was there before. The old owners had the place running really well for a lunch time cafe (Omelettes recommended), the new ones appear to be trying to just replicate what it was before and it's working so far although not quite up to the old quality yet, i will be back to see if they crack it.

We visited on Saturday morning and although early it was already busy. Having recently moved to Chertsey we were keen to try Joe’s Cafe and were delighted to receive such a friendly greeting. We both had the full English breakfast with filtered coffee. It was great and just what we needed! Look forward to going back.
