Called in on a Thursday evening for a beer and some food. We ordered from the curry menu. The food was great. Would recommend it.

I've been here lots over the past 2 years and it's the only fish and chips take away we use. However on a recent visit I was really disappointed with the fish. The batter was thick and greasy. The fish was thin and didn't have much taste. I'm not sure if it was a one off or things have changed. Maybe things will pick up but for the time being I've been put off.

I had a lamb special but this was slightly over cooked and dry and was. Or worth the £17 price tag. Steaks were great but sticky toffee pudding was served burnt and not really enjoyable. This was Arlen off the bill and the owners didnât question it at all. I hope they sort out the niggles as the place has great potential. Thanks for your review. We always appreciate feedback that enables us to improve. Usually, the lamb special is very moist and tender because of being slowly braised for several hours. Unfortunately, this particular one did not meet up to our usual high standards. We would have replaced it with another or something else if we had known. I'm glad the steaks were enjoyable.Again, the sticky toffee pudding is a hugely popular dish and clearly something went wrong on this occasion. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, I am glad we were able to quickly resolve the problem by taking it off the bill. Thanks once again for the feedback, we are always looking at ways of improving our dishes and this information will help us to do that.

Enjoyed our meal here, good attentive staff, wide choice of varied menu . For us, only negative was quantity of meat. The Massala Platter consisted of 4 rather small "Chunks" of chicken. I did mention this to be told they operated a portion control system. I guess that may mean it arrives pre bagged?

Trios is a traditional Tea Shop, offering a delicious range of home-made cakes and desserts, light lunches and snacks, hot and cold drinks - also takeaway available. The tea room has seating available for up to 36, and on fine days our Tea garden is open
Very friendly and helpful service in this old-fashioned tea room, drinks are served in delightful painted china. A constantly changing choice of cakes is available, with ice cream that is made on the premises. Summer fruit gateau is a real treat! Orchid Gold is a nice variety of tea that can be enjoyed without milk or sugar. A small garden is available with seating for a nice day, or stay inside and listen wonderful oldies music playing on CD. Always worth a visit! Thanks David. Always good to see you- I know you sometimes don't know which cake to choose! The Orchid Gold tea comes from Singapore. Other varieties of loose leaf tea are Oolong and Jasmine, Chai and Darjeeling, as well as Breakfast tea- all tasting better from lovely china cups. See you again soon.Lesley

Went with my wifr for a meal as we were staying locally for a few days. We got there early, before it openend and had a wander around the village. WHen we got back we sat on the patio with our dog and ordered our food. I had Grilled Chicken, my wife had the pie (Chicken Ham & Leek). Food was lovely, the service excellent. We were the only customers but so often that is when service falls down, not here. They were very good. Not the cheapest place we went to but certainly worth the money

Enjoy award winning dining at our 17th century coaching inn situated in the village of New Inn. Locally sourced produce with the warmest of Welsh welcomes.
I've eaten here several times now, both for Sunday lunch, week day lunch and for evening meals and every time the food and service has been fabulous. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality of food, staff are always friendly and welcoming and the menu changes seasonally, so there's always a good excuse to go back and try something new!

The reviews for this establishment are very misleading. My partner and I visited off the back of the positive reviews that itâs had. I pre-booked a table prior to attending but there was absolutely no need, the bar and restaurant were both empty. I found the quality and presentation very average. The meat was a poor cut, the mushrooms were cooked in butter which was disgusting and the onion rings were coated a huge clump of greasy batter. Donât expect great things. Wonât be returning.
