A family run restaurant serving only the freshest ingredients. We smoke all our own meats, make all our own gelato and bake cakes. With a fantastic selection of cocktails and real ales what more would you want. We are also part of Dunsley Hall Hotel www.d

I’ve always rated this place and always thought it was much better than hickorys in wallheath. However, my partner and I went just for cocktails in the upstairs bar. Such a disappointment, I had three cocktails and none were up to scratch. The barman obviously really wasn’t up to the job and when your paying £7-9 you want to enjoy the experience. Won’t be returning We are so sorry to read this. Can you please call me as if our staff do need training we will ensure that it is put into place. It would really have helped if you had spoken to us on the night informing us that you were unhappy with the drinks. Please feel free to call me.RegardsSteve 01384 878899

Having visited Dunsley Hall on several previous occasions for Afternoon Tea and being very pleased with the standard of the teas provided, this was my first time as a coeliac requiring the a Gluten Free Afternoon Tea option which is offered by the Hotel. It was VERY disappointing. Bread on the sandwiches was not great. The "cakes" were all shop bought i.e 1 shortbread biscuit, 1 Mrs Crimbles Chocolate coated macaroon, 1 petit frozen chocolate eclair and 1 frozen mini chocolate coated ring doughnut, The plain scone (possibly the only "homemade" item of the sweet items) was tasteless & rubbery in texture and the cream & Jam accompaniments made little improvement. In short, the gluten free tea was very disappointing and poor value for money. I would like to say that my companions had better luck with their "regular" teas but unfortunately neither were they to the usual standard. The Panacotta was VERY firm and not pleasant to eat and very much doubt it had been made that day, and again, their scones were not to the usual standard. Perhaps the fact that we visited on a Monday afternoon ( only one other table of customers who were leaving as we arrived) rather than on a weekend may have had some bearing on the quality, but this wasn't an impromptu visit, it had been pre-booked a couple of weeks earlier as a birthday celebration, so really no excuse for being served " below par" food. The serving staff were very pleasant but were also being required to attend to a large private event in the Conservatory and thus were not as readily attentive as on previous visits. The hotel itself is a lovely place with beautiful gardens but will we go for Afternoon Tea again?Probably not.

I just don’t understand why anyone who is vegan or vegetarian would choose to eat food which has been fashioned to replicate items made with meat! The menu offered little other than this.Good, authentic vegan and vegetarian food is so tasty and easy to produce! My meal was underwhelming. I was disappointed, although staff were helpful and friendly. I'm sorry you feel the meal was not to your satisfaction. We would be more than happy to offer you a full refundIf you could provide us with proof of your visit, a receipt or a debit card transaction would suffice, just email us at hello@vgnboulevardWe offer food that replicates meat because it's not such a shock to the system for non-vegan customers, it creates intrigue into our menu, which help to reduce the consumption of animal products which is what we are about, that is why 90% of our menu consists of dishes like this. It’s not something we hide, we are totally transparent about the food on our menu which is available on Tripadvisor, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram our website and Yelp so we are at a loss as to why you would want to visit our restaurant and your review offers very little in the way of constructive feedback. However we do offer lentil chilli, super green burger made from quinoa, Tempeh tomato, lettuce and avocado salad, I’m confident if you had asked a member of our team they would have been more than happy to go through the menu to find the most stereotypical vegan/vegetarian dish for you.Our restaurant is not aimed at vegans or vegetarians it’s suitable for all, most of our customers are not vegan, we don’t understand what you mean by authentic vegan or vegetarian dishes! As you are not either vegan or vegetarian yourself and seem to have no understanding of either lifestyle choice, we do question the relevance of your review and how helpful it is to other customers wishing to over indulge on junk food. It’s very rare we receive a negative review like this as most people who want to come to our restaurant find the food, service and ambiance to be very enjoyable.

We have used Gils for sandwiches and jacket potatoes, as we work locally, but recently came here for a lunch, there were 10 of us so we had booked and preordered our food as we were limited on time, Gil was great during all communications. Had a lovely lunch and everyone enjoyed it, food was fresh and good portions, they were happy to accommodate a couple of dietary requirements with no issues. Happy to recommend and will definitely be back Great stuff! Thank you very much for this review, it really is appreciated and very pleased that you seem to find us consistent in what we do. If people give us notice, we can usually work it all out. We're not so much "This is what we do" more "What would you like us to do?" The luxury of running an independent business. So, again..Thank you and see you soon. Gil x

Please don't expect anything posh here, you are visiting a true local pub that serves great beer, Enville Ale, cracking cobs(although they seem smaller?) along with a mountain of salad. We had 5 cobs with all trimmings and two drinks, just over £13!! Yes they don't take cards so be warned, no need for a recent 1 star review just for that reason. I would suggest no dogs inside for hygiene reasons. We return on a monthly basis.

What a wonderful place! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is excellent and freshly cooked. All are welcomed including dogs who can join their owners in the beautiful rear garden where they can rest after long walks. A great place for families too. We had a small breakfast each for £5.50 which consisted of one slice of bacon, one fried egg, one piece of black pudding, two sausages, beans and brown toast. YummyBest place to eat in Kinver

Went to Vegetarian/Vegan supper last night and it was a fantastic evening. Helen and Clare made us feel so welcome and were perfect hosts. The food was in abundance and tapas style so plenty of choice. Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Cannot recommend this place enough. Tried Breakfast Lunch and now supper so that's a recommendation in itself!
