Pretty good for the price
Reviewed By cowsandmoonsThis is a fairly basic hotel with everything you need. Our room was small but everything worked and we had the hottest water in Peru, albeit only in the shower. Breakfast was extremely basic -- okay if you're happy with just bread and eggs. We also booked a tour through the hotel and I would review the tour company separately only they never revealed their name (strange, right?). The tour was not particularly well organised, with lots of driving around to pick people up, over-booking the tour so the Spanish-speaking guide had more people than she should have and became angry when the English-speaking guide couldn't help, and turning up at sites at exactly the same time as several other groups instead of staggering it. However, our guide, who was freelance, was good once we were at the sites and we were the only two people with him. If you decide to book a full-day tour, you will be taken to a restaurant for lunch (not included). Be aware that you are not obliged to eat there.

Very nice place
Reviewed By RalucaBostinaVery nice hotel in a nice quiet area, 9-10 min drive from Plaza de Armas. Everything seems to be new, clean and well mantained. Our room was lovely, with a nice view of the city. Very pleasant and helpfull staff. Aprox 5 min after making the reservation I was contacted on whatsapp by the reception asking when we arrive and if we have any specific requests. There is a private parking which we found very usefull. I would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By Luis KThis hotel is located at a walking distance from Trujillo's downtown which is very convenient, rooms are spacious and clean, offers free breakfast, it has hot water at an affordable price. It is not easy to spot, so if you are driving you must pay attention since it has a long driveway and the hotel entrance and lobby at located at the back. It is what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. So if you are not planning to stay during daytime and are on a somewhat tight budget is a good option.

Reviewed By SiriusSkier23This place is well located and close to the plaza des Armas. Aside from that it is one of those places that you can hear every little thing coming from the neighbors room. Despite there being nobody on my floor they still put a mate check in next to mine. They proceeded to talk and move about all night. I got about an hour of sleep. If you go to a hotel for sleep don't stay here. Also my sheet had dried blood stains on it! Just gross!

Excellent place to stay in Trujillo
Reviewed By Laura WWe stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. Clean room, comfortable bed, hot water, great shower pressure, great breakfast and nice area. The best thing about it however were the owners and the lady who works there at night. Everyone was friendly and massively helpful. You are made to feel at home! The only point for improvement is the WiFi as the signal is not very strong but it still works as long as you don't need skype. Tip - if you don't fancy walking into town for dinner one night, there is a reasonably priced parrilla restaurant around the corner on Colombia.

Reviewed By Zoltan LLocated in one of Trujillo’s more residential neighborhoods, the Roswal hotel is a good choice if you’re in the city on Business or simply looking for a good place to sleep. It is conveniently located on a main street, less than 10 minutes drive from downtown. There are several good restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The hotel itself shares a new building with a bank and is a slim building of about 5 to 6 floors. The rooms are well sized, clean, with good sleepwear. There is wi-fi on all floors, however, it didn’t reach our room. Breakfast, though simple, is included. The downside is the noisiness, of car alarms and parties in the neighborhood (likely the same in most hotels here).

3 nights really noisy
Reviewed By Camilla HThe hotel is clean and perfect location, in centre of colonial houses. However the hotel is so noisy, like the walls are made of paper, you can hear absolutely everything all your neighbors do. First night we were kept awake by a poor guy being really stomach sick.
