This easy to miss restaurant is right next to the Torgbron (bridge) on the opposite side from the Tourist Center in town. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely. There are several seafood options which are all good choices.

Great place for a dinner, but this time we went just for drink. Perfectly service minded personnel. Great choice of summer drinks. Nice garden outside the restaurant. Lovely furnished inside. A certain place to go in Trosa.

We were in Trosa on a Daytrip and went here because of recommendations from Tripadvisor. Great choice because the food was absolutely delicious. We had rainbow trout with seasonal vegetables. They had home made lemonade that tasted amazing.
Other little things that made a big difference:
In the bathroom they have a small basket with some emergency essentials like tampons or bug spray etc. this was a really nice touch because it is so rare in Sweden and in Swedish establishments in general.
Last but not least, the service staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Will definitely go back again if we are in Trosa!

We stayed at this B&B/Bakery with our 2 small children. The rooms were very small and the vent in our double room (No. 6) kept me up most of the night. The rates were quite high for what we got but we assumed it was due to the high season. At checkout we were told that the extra baby bed in the single room was an extra charge. It would not have been an issue had we been told in advance but we weren't told until paying the bill. The older woman from the bakery got very snotty and told me to "do what I wanted to do". This was an unnecessary attitude.
Knowing the bakery's good reputation, breakfast was ok but disappointing in that none of their baking abilities came to show.
We did come by later on the day we checked out and bought a variety of items all of which were fantastic. The Mazarins and the carrot cake were godly.

Dropped in this restaurant on a Friday evening, most of the eaters were locals who come over to enjoy the live band and eat a great meal outside over looking the old mill pond and rill...the food we ate was cooked to our order, inexpensive and very tasty. When passing we will definitely pay Utiskten another visit.

Very delicious food in a lovely candlelit restaurant overlooking the river. Very cosy and romantic for couple and great for groups as well as they have a large dining table in a separate room. I had venison which was cooked perfectly and really delicious. I think my partner had food envy!

As a Thai cuisine lover we have missed the Thai take away we had at Industrigatan. Now the new Sushi restaurant at Trosaporten is serving not only Japanese but also Thai dishes, either on site or as take away. Hope the distance from the centre will not deter the first time visitors. Once you have tested it, the distance will shrink dramatically.

Wonderful cookies, cakes, coffee and tea.... We sat indoors as it was quite cold outside but weather permitting the little garden/patio seems very cozy. There is even the possibility to watch the staff making marzipan on the first floor.

I come special to this place for there smoked shrimps, they are delicious. The service is ok but could be much better, they have no clue of the wines they have, and they only have 4 different ones, you should expect that they could recommend you, but they don't. The rest of the meal was ok but nothing special, steaks where over cooked, we had to give back one, I wanted rear but get medium done, I didn't give it back because I find it a petty, but my son had hiss well done, totally dry, not eatable.
Price in this restaurant is expensive, they live of tourist visiting the town.

We were waiting to place the order for 20 minutes. Good food but 3 stars is most they can get - nothing exceptional. Rather expensive.
