Been to a number of sushi restaurants multiple times in Trieste as I like sushi :) I-sushi while lacking a super high level compared to the world, delivers the best sushi in Trieste, and by a pretty fair margin. I've eaten here about 4-5 times and have had a good experience each time.I only come for lunch as the restaurant is not busy at those times and you can sit down and properly enjoy the meal comfortable for as with most restaurants in Trieste space is limited. I'd recommend trying the shrimp gyoza they offer as its something a bit different to most gyoza, and I find myself ordering every time I go, so it must be good.

This is a great place for some really good new experiences. Its a kind of a fusion japanese restautant so I would reccomend not to go for classical Japanese dishes. Be prepared to pay a little more though and be sure to reserve your table.

This restaurant is as far as I'm concerned the best japanese restaurant in all Friuli Venezia Giulia.It is often full so at dinner, especially in the weekends, it is better to book your table in advance.As soon as you get a table, you're served a welcome drink (usually a glass of fanta) which is a nice start.The selection is pretty wide but the fish dishes make the bulk of what's offered. Before the main dish you will be served a bowl of hot soup and a bowl of vegetables, which are included in the price.My favourite food are the makis: the tuna ones are awesome, soft and tasty, but the avocado ones are great too. Salmon sashimi is fantastic too. Given the fact that pretty much all the fish dishes are awesome I suggest to skip the meat dishes (for that you have other better restaurants) and focus on the dishes which offer the bext mixes of makis, sushi and sashimi. As I came here many times I can say that with two or three people the "boats" are definitely a great choice to enjoy all the types of fish food.At the end of the meal the waitress will bring you a hot towel to clean hands: a classy touch, very rare in most of the italian restaurants.For the quality and quantity of the food I'd say the price is absolutely fair. If you're in town, give this place a go and you will be hardly disappointed.

Il sushi era ottimo , fatto al momento con ingredienti freschi e genuini . Oggettivamente il sushi era molto buono...unico punto che lascia un po' a desiderare è l'arredamento. Da tornare sicuramente al più presto!
