We went there for three nights. The place is very nice, the personal is acceptable friendly and the meals are probably the weakest point of this place. You can eat enough, you don’t need to leave the place hungry, but I you want something very special, you might be disappointed. The meals are also ok, but not on the level of this price range. For this amount of money others make a bigger effort, even in Romania.

It's located on the west end of the city center close to citadel in an old high school cafeteria. Not easy to find , they have a banner on the front of the building Ilarie Chendi street. The main entrance and free parking it's from Justice street . Summer time outside grill with Romanian "mititei" , pork chops and local beer. Inside it's a buffet style establishment nothing fancy but they serve a simple and good food. A lunch can cost you between 4 to 6 CAD (3-4 US). Ideal place for the budget traveler but it's suitable for everyone looking for a good meal.

The waiter was nice. The pizza was good; however, the added bonus to the ingredients in our pizza was a cooked fly. When I showed the fly to the waiter, the gentleman actually had the nerve to ask me if it was real. I took off my glasses and asked him to look me in the eye and ask me if I look like a liar. Before we left, he did apologize and say he was sorry for the fly. In my humble opinion, if you have a choice of eating at San Gennaro restaurant, I recommend you fly as fast as your feet can run.
