I`ve been totaly excited when I saw the renovations which make from this place a new and modern location. The food, music and vibe are excellent. I visited on many ocasions, morning, lunch and dinner. Every time I`ve been dissapointed in the waiters. They forget your order or bring it uncomplete. You have to constantly be on edge to hunt them down if you want to order something aditional to your main order. And the `sour cherry on the cake` was when I wanted to make a reservation for me and my husband and they said they don`t make reservations for 2 persons. WHAT???? It`s always very crowded and I wanted to make sure I have a place for my anniversary ... No problem, there are a lot of nice places in Arad that accept reservations for 2, actually it`s the first time I hear of something like this, but it`s their chioce. My personal opinion, if they continue like this, people will lose interest because the lows will pass the highs of this place.

Beautifully located on the lacul padurice in Podgoria, between the city centre and the rail station, it offers a relaxing location to chill out, have a breakfast or make some party in the night. Highly recommended, for me is ideal to chill the stress out with a lemonade. Prices are lower than other places in bulevardul Revolutiei.

The service was quite professional. As soon as you walk in you will be seated by a polite waiter and given a menu. This is not to be taken for granted in Romania.The place is glamorous.The acoustics are perfect for conversation and business. There was music playing just loud enough to listen to if you wanted to but low enough to talk over. It was Sinatra to boot, not vulgar rap or exercise music.The chicken de pui(soup) was excellent and my meal was perfect. The price was less than expected for a restaurant inside a big hotel.

Although the Menü has been greatly diminished, the remaining dishes are still exemplary Romanian and international dishes. From the awesome ciolan, stewed roast pork knuckle, to fresh fried Salau, or perch, in a white wine sauce, you will find a delightful range of food.All are prepared in the kitchen, no convenience food.My favourite are the coaste, spare ribs. They are served in a large portion, steaming hot. Order a corn cu cascaval, home baked cheesy bread to go with it...mixed salt pickles, cartofi aurii, make a platter!Highly recommended.Only 4 points, for shortening the Menü

I have been eating with them for years and decided to share some of my experience... The restaurant is in the center of the city, about 10 minutes walk Form Continental hotel, 10-15 minutes walk to the Neptune strand and MureÈ promenade.Interior is in a refined classic note and staff is very friendly and gives you a good mood...The Chef makes wonders in the kitchen, whether it is beef, sea food or pasta you cannot go wrong. Also wine lovers have a great variety to choose from and again they can offer you advice, should you not be able to make your mind... My business trips always include a trip there, but business is not all... Two years ago they helped me to organise a surprise dinner for my wife's birthday, so if you want to surprise you loved ones that is also a good point to start.Hoow that they will keep surprising me with the food and wine choice. A heartly 5 start from me and below you have some pictures of the sea food choice as well as a juicy steak...Dr. Florian H.
