Don't even hesitate, book any of these tours now! My boyfriend and I did two tours through Chania wine tours and they were the highlight of our trip. Honest probably one of the best tours I've been on. The food and the wine were amazing plus Anna Maria and Vasilis were so hospitable. I seriously cannot recommend them enough!!

Wine Adventure Tour by Chania Wine Tours  Spend a full day swirling, sipping, and tasting through western Crete with wine professionals. Perfect for honeymoons, birthdays, or other special occasions. Vasili and Anna Maria, the owners of Chania Wine Tours, are Greek-Americans that returned to their ancestral home of Crete. They are passionate wine people- Vasili owns vineyards and Anna Maria is a Certified Sommelier.  The first half of the day is dedicated to olive oil. Take in the endless olive trees at the Cave of Saint John the Hermit, learn all about olive oil production at Biolea Estate olive mill, and visit the oldest olive tree in the world! The second half of the day is for wine! Visit the vineyards and tasting room at Karavitakis Winery. Learn how to taste wine properly and how grapes are grown. Enjoy 6 wines. Then to Manousakis Winery for a tour of the winery to learn how wine is made before enjoy 5 more wines. Full lunch with unlimited wine is served on their terrace.

I made the tour in September 2020. For those who search for an alternative experience during their holidays and love to taste the famous Cretan wines, it is a very good option. Helena, our host was very friendly and kind to us. I will highly recommend the tour to a friend!

My trip was with Thanassis guide/driver to White Mountains. So new view of Creta island and about people I got on thid trip. Off road part was safe and exciting. More local trip you can not make on Creta. If you like mountains, goats, ships and small villages you have to come on this trip!

My partner and I absolutely loved our trip to Elafonisi, Falasarna & Vouves with Christina and Thanassis. They were fantastic guides and wonderfully accommodating providing a lot of interesting information, drinks and a beautiful lunch. Cannot fault the trip and would recommend to everyone!
