We booked flight tickets to and fro Chennai dehradun. Had five full days to do kedarnath and badrinath temple visits. Great trip, comfortable accommodation, very very peaceful darshan at both places, no crowd at all, pleasant climate (5-10 degs). Very good vegetarian food at both places. Stayed at hotels every night and it was very satisfying trip on the whole.

The experience in Haridwar with Naveen, was wonderful and memorable. Each of these four sites is devoted to a specific deity. Yamunotri is dedicated to the Goddess Yamuna who goes along the pilgrims to the high altitudes of the picturesque Rawai Valley. It is believed that a bath in the waters of the Yamuna protects the devotee from untimely death.
