Kudumiyanmalai Temple

Reviewed By Tamilnambi - Coimbatore, India

This marvelous place is just a few kilometers from sittanavasal. The countryside road itself will make you fall in love with this place. The temple is huge and quiet which gives you a calm mind. The famous music inscriptions are on the back side of the temple, and usually a guard will be there to show you around. If you give him some money, he will also show you around the temple and the sculptures on the front mandapam, which are as important as the inscriptions.

Reviewed By AADSUN - Bengaluru, India

This museum is located in a very calm place within the Pudukkottai city. Unexpectedly after entering we realised that it has a treasure of information for students. It has a good collections of variety os species, fishes, birds and also articles used by the people who lived in those areas long ago. They have installed a Dinosaur replica which also has a little show during certain timings of the day which makes movement and sound. A treat for the kids to watch. Best part if that its maintained very well.

Sittannavasal

Reviewed By InbavananG - Bengaluru, India

During our family reunion trip to Pudukkottai in January 2021, we took time to visit Sittannavasal to experience the rock cut cave temples and the ancient fresco paintings, similar to the one in Ajanta Caves. The story narrated by the ascetic guide, Chinnathambi weaving history with folklore was one of the most memorable experiences of our visit.
