Red Canyon

Reviewed By Viktor K

About a 40 minute walk, with nice views and adventurous parts, where you have to climb down or up a ladder. It is not too hard, so it is suitable for families as well. Going there by a car or with a tour is recommended, since buses are not so frequent in this area.

With more than 100 types of stony coral and 650 species of fish, this coral reef is an excellent spot for underwater enthusiasts.

Not so far from Eilat, having easy access by taxi or by bus, is one of the best places to see the corals and the coloured fishes as they really are free in the sea.
Enough sun chairs on the beach and picnic tables also.
Enjoy!

Princess Beach

Reviewed By Dan M - Tel Aviv, Israel

The main advantage of this beach is that it is free while still you can do there quite good snorkeling and see Red Sea corals and fish.
It has some amenities like toilets which however are not always opened.
Main problem I would say is that parking is not that easy...and often full (to my experience of course)
There is a much better site for snorkeling 2 miles before this one (north of it) which is the Coral Beach Nature Reserve but you have to pay an entrance fee of 35 ils (10$) for an adult ticket.
The coral reef there is much more beautiful and the negative reviews saying otherwise have simply not seen it all (you can read my reviews about it, much is explained there).
The Migdalor beach (between those 2) is less interesting than the Princess Beach and of course the Reserve, its advantage being that it is also free and that you can swim from there to the Coral Nature Reserve not needing to pay anything since you just have to swim (around 1 mile swim though) .
I would actually recommend that you visit the 3 Beaches, Migdalor, Princess and then the Nature Reserve to see most of what Eilat and its Red Sea Coral Reef have to offer.
Still, I am talking of the Red Sea of course ... Timna, the Pillars of Solomon and then the various Desert trips are also unforgettable experiences not to be overlooked
If you have the time to do all that I believe you won't regret it ...

Very beautiful classical music. Fountains have few colors not too many. A show is worth to see - it is at the city center near a shore.
