Very well preserved and a great start to our archeological Mayan zone trip. Buildings use thin bricks of baked clay rather than stones. So interesting.

This hacienda has a lot of history and it is mainly focused on the chocolate production. A well knowledgeable gentleman gives the tour and takes you through the process of chocolate as well as the cultivating history of the cacao which is the fruit from where coco comes from.
