Cimarron is a village in Colfax County, New Mexico, United States which sits on the eastern slopes of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The population was 1,021 at the 2010 census, making it the 4th most populated municipality in Colfax County.

Philmont is the premire high adventure site for those who are involved in Boy Scouting, However everyone is welcome. They have a wonderful museum and store. Lastly, you can travel across the property and take some amzing pictures of the landscape and wildlife.

Cimarron West is a full-blown western store. Owners are Casey & Gayanne Jeffers. Store opened in 1989. Cimarron West has a great selection of western wear for all ages: straw & felt hats, boots, tack, ropes, jewelry, animal health products, feed for all livestock & domestic animals. Handmade leather goods by Casey include saddles, chaps, chinks, and belts. Store is opened Monday - Saturday
