Ricketts Glen State Park

This is must do hike, about 4 hours relax drive from Long Island including a pit stop, it’s a 7 mile hike ( you have the option to do a 3.5 hike) with 21 waterfalls. It’s breathing taking, being in a forest intrigued by waterfalls of varying size. It’s such a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of life......it was an idyllic hike. I WILL do it again????????

Ever since we bought our vacation home nearby, I eagerly look forward to browsing the store(s), where I have found gorgeous jewelry, (very fairly priced), as well as lots of goodies - some old, some not. Step out of the Walmart, Kohl’s & Target box and enjoy buying unique things that the rest of the world doesn’t have. More importantly, we need to shop locally because these small businesses need your support to survive.

Tip to collectors... if you find something in the barn that isn't priced, ask Sarah. My wife found a treasure trove of salt and pepper shakers, and once she heard the price, she spent an HOUR sorting through them. She purchased 40 pairs and Sarah threw in a few singles. Me, I purchased yummy produce and a lovely bouquet of sunflowers fresh- picked by owner Sarah.

We do numerous events on sight throughout the year and also attend some local wine festivals. Check out our website or FaceBook for the most up to date information.

Great place to visit! We went yesterday and enjoyed some cider flights. We had three in total between three of us. They each come with a bag of pretzels. Also, due to the current PA guidelines you're required to buy half of a slice of pizza for $1, which was tasty. They're ciders are more on the dry side and most are very boozy, if you know what I mean. I prefer things to be more on the dry side than overly sweet. The women working were friendly and there was ample seating outside. We'd go back if/when in that area.
