...aber der Service ist mässig!Die ältere Serviertochter redet zwar viel, aber Kompetenz ist nicht ihre Stärke. Sie versuchte freundlich zu sein, aber es gelang ihr nicht wirklich. Nachdem wir eine ¾ Stunde vor leeren Gläsern sassen, wollten wir zahlen, was wir nach 15 Minuten dann auch durften. Es war leer im Gastraum, mit uns nur noch drei weitere Tische belegt.Vielleicht kommen wir wieder.

We spotted this restaurant on our first day...my husband loves cordon blus and they have a sign saying they have assorted ones and so we made a mental reminder that we must stop before we leave. Several days later after returning to Adelboden from a day of adventure we stopped at 6pm with friends. We all walked in, 7 of us and the lady said she closes at 6pm but would love to invite us in and cook for us...we all ordered, drinks, salads, soups and dinner. Everything was brought to us in a timely manner and all was fresh and delicious. The lady was so nice and willing to make us all happy! Beautiful restaurant... super clean and has toys and coloring books, books for children.

I had veal schnitzel with fries and they cooked it perfectly. Often in places like this these dishes are too greasy, but it's obvious that the chef knows what she/he is doing. Also the garnishing was very yummy. It's not the most romantic of place, but I'd come here again to eat for sure. The lady serving me was genuine friendly. Always nice to be in Frutigen. The restaurant also has a fumoir, which obviously was more busy. Although one didn't notice anything in the restaurant, the toilet smelled of cigarette smoke.

This simple alpine guesthouse literally got stuck in the 70`s. All looked as I was used from my home when I was a teenager. Welcome was very friendly and nice. First night dinner was great and polite and efficient service. Breakfast was ok, however the lady attenting the breakfast room would be a perfect actress to play Ms Rottenheimer from the Heidi's tale. Somehow rude, but in the same time correct. Dinner on the second night was bad, really bad. They had a big event in the restaurant and we waited for about 2 hours for our dishes. At least they offered us the coffee for our waiting time. Would I return there : most probably not. Sorry

The "entrance' to the family-run restaurant is the 153-metre long pedestrian suspension bridge. It is worth the walk for the views. The restaurant serves simple food at a reasonable cost. For five of us, we had a cheese and bread board and cheese, sausage and bread board. The cheeses, bread and sausage were ver good. We had with the meal. They also serve ice cream.

Whatever you order will be delicious. Service is excellent. Extensive wine list but very, very overpriced. The wine by the glass was disappointing. A special occasion restaurant for interesting and tasty food.

Great spot as far as location. I came here based on the 3 top reviews and I was a little disappointed. With such a menu, gourmet basically, Iâd expect to get some kind of delicious butter spread for the bread served in a brown bag. Iâm not sure if the waitress was new but knowledge of such exotic foods is a must. I had so many questions about the menu and she just couldnât answer them. We ended up with a appetizer and sandwiches which were great but not usually our choice. She was a very nice lady and tried her best. Dear customerThank you for your review. Your comments are very valuable to us, so we can train our team accordingly and improve the quality of service. We have a new employee who unfortunately didn't know everything yet. In fact, she could or should have called in a colleague and we regret that she didn't do that.
