Visité el restaurante durante un viaje a Cobán, y es un restaurante familiar, de comida tÃpica guatemalteca, especialidad en chicharrones y carnitas.En mi caso, pedà carne asada que estaba muy buena, en su punto de cocimiento y bien sazonada. If you're in Coban you must eat at Sedano's! Dishes are really delicious, and the environment of the restaurant really nice. We met the owner, Ester. She is a professional chef with studies in Spain, and she is working hard at the kitchen as much as her staff. Ester was really nice and she provided us with information on tourist attractions in the region. Either you choose a vegetarian option or a good meat, you will enjoy eating here! We loved the fact that this is an open location, when the majority of restaurants in Coban are closed!!!

Vine a cenar. La parrillada estupenda, el menú de cenas igual. Las pastas no son su fuerte. Sin embargo, la tradición y el ambiente sopesan algunas deficiencias en la cocina.

This restaurant is a little way along from the main centre but well worth the short walk. It has very friendly yet professional staff, the food was excellent and very well presented on the plate. A lot of care has gone into developing the setting, altogether the best place we have eaten at in Coban.

I never give five stars but this is the closest you can get in Coban. Excellent food, excellent service, friendly and professional! A wonderful glass of house wine and true concern about my being happy with what was served. It's a very nice atmosphere to boot! If you visit Coban and like a good hearty meal at a great price, this is the spot!

"El Monje" means the Monk, and the restaurant used to be a monastery - feels steeped in history! It has a beautiful patio and big old rooms which must also be good for private parties. I confess that I have only eaten the Monje's thick black bean soup, delicious - but the hefty, solid fare beloved by Coban folk. Their cold beer, fizzy lemonade and coffee are also good. It has good wifi, and I have lurked and written from there. I really like the sweet, friendly, unobtrusive staff, the amiable atmosphere and the kindly owner who,, incidentally gives free office space to a charity from the top of what used to be the monastery's belfry.Muchas gracias por visitarnos, nuestros clientes son lo más importante para nosotros y sus opiniones nos ayudan a crecer, esperamos que vuelva pronto

Vincent looked after us incredibly well, explaining the menu to us. And then there was the burger which was amazing - we had a choice of bun and what ingredients were stuffed within the actual meat patty! The traditional Venezuelan arepas were also tasty. Would highly recommend to anyone passing though Coban!
