Have fun trying to imagine what it must have been like to live in Symi before the onslaught of mass tourism, when this was the main commercial thoroughfare.

We loved our drive up to this historic monastery. It is lovely and the people there were very friendly. It is interesting to see how worshipers place icons at the altar to ask for blessings or give thanks. The pebble mosaics that make up the floors are incredible.
