Quite a trek up stairs in the bush but well worth it. Signs indicate it takes 15min to walk up and I think that’s a reasonable estimate for a person with average fitness levels. Once up top, you’re greeted with 360 degree views and a wonderful cool breeze to whip off your sweat from the walk up. Well worth it.

Family owned and operated farm stall in Borenore, NSW. We have an on-site cafe and offer pick your own activities from late November to March. Our farm stall offers fresh produce and local jams, honey, preserves etc. We are closed on Public Holidays.

We did a U turn and drove back to the store....glad we did. Pick your own figs and plums were delicious. We also brought some olives, cooking salts and honey. Owner was very helpful. Worth a stop along the road to Orange.

We visited here in March and so lucky to be able to pick ripe figs. Contact with the owner of the farm was almost instant and they appreciate contact before visiting. We were the only visitors at the time, so Alison showed us which figs were ripe for the picking, We learnt that best to pick when almost squishy, as figs do not ripen when picked as other fruits do. After pricking a bucket, we had these weighed (paid a small sum) and also bought some of their jam. Each morning, fresh figs topped our cereal - yum!!

We especially went to Orange to visit the Huntly Berry farm to buy our green tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini and squash for our jams and preserves. It's pick your own, very reasonably priced and your money assists in the education of those less fortunate. Such great value. We'll be back again, soon.
