The shop provides a nostalgic experience for parents bringing their children who remember coming as chosen themselves while Grandparents remember bringing their own children for a treat. Many of our customers remember the shop as it was in those days, then 'Little Learners'. Much has changed in the intervening years, but customer service and community remain at the heart of what we do. The Swallow family purchased the business in 2015 and owner Ruth's background in the Creative Industries ensured the shop benefited from a transformative artistic eye. Many customers now comment on how the aesthetics and beautiful stock create a special atmosphere, with people travelling from up to an hour away to experience it. Lovely set up. Plenty of shops, 2 restaurants and a great pet store, dog groomers, gift and beauty shops. Definitely worth the visit!
